"The place is a large farmhouse, 1000 years ago it was used by farming monks. 15 minutes from Barcelonette and everything the Ubaye valley and the Mercantour have to offer (We're hikers, but folks come here to bike or drive their Porsches on mountain roads too). The food is not great , the staff English is limited. cleaning crew refused to hand wash my clothes - said they were busy though they said they do laundry (even though I said I would pay) . They also didn’t change my towel twice though I put it on the floor like indicated in the signs . Also funny garbage smells in the garden and in the corridor "
