"Lovely accommodation on a small farm. The couple who run it are delightful and very friendly and helpful.
The room has it's own access door, so I was able to take my dog in and out without disturbing the house.
It's quite remote,but satnav takes you right to the door, although I wasn't clear how to access on arrival as there were two houses, however both are owned by the same couple, so didn't take long to figure it out.

We stayed during a hot period so struggled a big with the heat as the suite has big windows, but there was an aircon unit we could use. Super friendly staff. Breakfast was nice but we kept having to ask for refills of most things, but they were happy to do that. The grounds are stunning and relaxing. We would sit ourside in the evening with a local beer (great IPA and Blond) and listen to the birds."

Also, in this particular hotel, dogs were not allowed into the bar area or even the reception area. This would have proved impossible if I had been travelling alone!! "We had the best experience at the Cabane dans les arbres. Our car broke down when we were 20km from arriving and the hosts came to pick us up, even though it was very late. They supported us (the parents) with food and moral support the next day while we were on the phone with the rental car company. Meanwhile, the kids had the best day of their lives swimming and on the property's zipline. The tree house itself was cozy, with a copious breakfast (as described by others) and everything was perfect."
"Our night at the Chateau had to be the single most memorable night of our trip.
I loved it; my other half was a bit freaked by it all.
The property is a long way from anywhere down a stone road. The wildlife is incredible (I’ve never heard an all-night frog chorus before and the deer roam freely through the meadows). It is basically a private house offering rooms and a basic breakfast- not a hotel… it’s very much like taking an Air BnB room.
The owner is a character but speaks virtually no English- this isn’t for you if you’re not able to get by in French.
The house is unique, and speaks of grandeur in the way that old piles do. It felt like spending the night in a National Trust Manor House before they’ve done it up.
If you want a night in deepest Anjou where you’re left to yourself to explore a chateau and can sit drinking wine under a tree with a cat purring on your lap, this is worth a go. If you’ve got young kids, you can’t speak much French or have mobility issues (there’s a spiral staircase), stay somewhere else. "
