They even kept the kitchen open a few more minutes for me as I arrived just the dining was finishing. The meal was superb and they have a good selection of wines. "The overall appearance of the hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly. The room was otherwise okay but very damp – I suspect that moisture is coming from the bathroom into the room, causing structural dampness. Despite everything, during the summer season, the two nights went quite well.

The room (and in particular the bathroom) and services are pretty basic, yet clean and comfortable. It was slightly better than I expected. "Lovely bedrooms with lots of space. Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. The restaurant was closed during our stay (because of the Bayonne festival), but the hotel was helpful in warning us in advance and recommending local restaurants that were open. Very central hotel, but quiet and peaceful, backing onto a pretty courtyard."
"Charming hotel in a lovely area. There was so much to do within a 3-10 minute walk of the hotel. Shops, restaurants, fresh food market, beach, etc.
The room was very comfortable for 3 people. The bathroom was quite large with a nice shower. AC was a bonus, as was the mini fridge. Comfortable beds. Very clean.
Staff were very friendly and helpful in multiple languages.
If you have mobility issues, know that you cannot drive up to the entrance. And the elevator is really tiny so we mostly used stairs.
Parking is about a 4 minute walk with lots of stairs, and getting to the parking garage is a bit of an adventure. (Many streets in Biarritz are pedestrian only,) it’s also paid parking, with was rather expensive.
If you can avoid a car in Biarritz, I would. It’s a very walkable place. "

"We loved our stay at Hotel Le Garage. The location was fantastic - peaceful and out of the hubbub of downtown but still very walkable to all the restaurants and nightlife. The room was much more spacious and well appointed than we had expected - we loved all the furnishings, and especially the comfortable bed. The bed had both down and synthetic pillows so you could choose your support. The staff was absolutely phenomenal - everyone was welcoming, thoughtful, attentive. We had a minor maintenance issue during our stay - the staff addressed it immediately in the evening, and fully resolved first thing in the morning. They even left a box of chocolates in apology - not necessary but very kind. The breakfast was delicious. 10 out of 10 would stay here again."
