"First they ruined hole experience by lying about pay by credit card. They want to pay by cash because pay by credit card would need bank name, account number, bank address etc. By the spanish law, but when I did ask about that from other hotels that was lie. They clearly wanted money off the book. Toilet ceanliness is poor and all the way hotel is far far away from its best moments."

"Beautiful views, overall good hotel but for the price you pay, I believe they could do better. Eg free spa entrance, daily water service and better coffee options. "

"We highly recommend this resort. The views are amazing, staff is very helpful and friendly! Everything is clean, breakfast is good, pool area and bar are great. For us (a couple working remote) it was perfect; wi-fi connection in the room was a bit poor, but faster in the bar area. We really enjoyed night games with Richi, the entertainer, who is very joyful and funny. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay at this resort and it is worth 5 starts."

It's feeding time at the zoo! Hotels.com travelers also say the area is relaxing and has lots of nice beaches. If you have fun at Loro Park, you'll love Botanical Gardens and La Vola, both located nearby.

Explore the great outdoors at Botanical Gardens, a lovely green space in Puerto de la Cruz. Stroll along the seaside or visit the spas in this relaxing area.
Notable for its port, Puerto de la Cruz features attractions such as Plaza del Charco and San Telmo Promenade. This beachside city has something for everyone including sights like Dock of Puerto de la Cruz and Taoro Park within a secluded setting.
We were worried that Puerto de la Cruz might be "off the beaten path" and too far from points of interest, but it turned out to be a smart base for exploring Tenerife. Santa Cruz, La Laguna, and El Teide are quickly accessed by bus.

Beautiful, green, bring a rain coat for brief showers. The Jardín Botánico is a must see.

More touristy than I expected and a bit bigger than I thought it would be. I did like the weather and greenness around. Food is better on other sides of the island though.

Bars away from the Harbour area are much cheaper, especially those a block or two away from the waterfront, and just as good. Far too many Africans selling fake handbags and teeshirts, the police should move them on. Quite a few empty shops around

"The hotel was excellent for a family holiday. Wonderful food and facilities. Modern, clean and friendly. The walk to the centre of town was short and there was a shop very local for any bits extra you need. An absolutely fabulous place to stay. Highly recommended."
"The team are friendly and make all guests feel welcome. The property is in good condition and the rooms were clean and spacious. The room were cleaned daily and towels changed each day .
Lots of opinions to dine out and the supermarket is 5 minutes away and is open until 10pm.
Great value for money and central to the local bus station. "
"Lovely, well equipped studio apartment with a balcony. Only stayed one night but would stay again and enjoy the pool and sun terrace. Friendly, helpful reception staff."
"Only stayed for one night due to our flight being cancelled but what an excellent hotel this is. Easy check in greeted with a Prosecco, reception staff welcoming friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable and wow what a view. Was booked in for breakfast and lots of choice and the food was fresh warm and tasty. Cannot really fault this hotel."
"Modern furniture, kitchen and bathroom. Large room and balcony. Plenty of plug sockets for chargers etc.
Well equipped kitchen.
Can hear some noise from neighbouring rooms. Open shower has very high showerhead which cannot be repositioned so water floods the bathroom floor.
Check in time at the hotel is 3pm and not 2pm as stated in Expedia.
Good value for money and I would stay here again "
"We had a very pleasant stay at the Puerto Resort. The rooms may be a bit old-fashioned, but they were clean and well-maintained. I noticed that they were refurbishing the fifth floor, which suggests that they have plans to update the decor in the future.
If you'd like, you can request daily cleaning and towel changes. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of room, a large wardrobe, and a generous terrace.
The food was excellent, offering a variety of options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. There was always something new to try. The drinks were also great.
The swimming pool area was not crowded, perhaps due to the time of year, and the indoor pool and gym were similarly peaceful. You can use the gym and join water fitness classes, as long as you sign up in advance – and these are all free of charge.
The resort consists of three hotels, and meals are served at two of them. This was not an issue for us, and we appreciated the ability to use the facilities at all three hotels. You don’t have to stay at a specific hotel to enjoy a drink; you can visit any of the other hotels. The resort is conveniently located near shops and offers beautiful views of the ocean.
They also organize evening entertainment after 9 PM, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and have no complaints. However, if you're particularly picky or enjoy complaining, you may find some things that aren't to your liking. But in general, it’s important to relax a

"Nice hotel, quiet and clean but there was a funny smell in the bathroom when we first got there but if we kept the toilet seat down the smell went. A couple of my skirts went missing but other than that we enjoyed our stay."
"The hotel is set at the back of Puerto de la Cruz, but has good views across the town. There is parking, and at the time of writing, the cost was €10 per night. Although parts of the hotel are a little dated, it is clean, and well run. Staff were very friendly. We had the all inclusive. The food was a good variety of Spanish and International cuisine, and there was plenty of choices. The hotel had plenty of amenities, such as gym, tennis court, table tennis, petanque and pool to name a few. The hotelbhas extensive and well maintained gardens. Every evening there was entertainment each from 9-10.30ish, which was usuallya variety act. There is a free bus into town several times a day. The hotel lobby also has a an excursions booth. The room i had was large and clean with daly housemaid service. I really enjoyed the experience of The Blue Sea Jardin."
"Free Muffins coffee and tea in the morning and inexpensive dinner cooked by the skilled employees and volunteers of the hostel. The roll was a little small for six people. But I was plenty comfortable. The people that work and volunteer there are very friendly and helpful.
If you are going to are going to Tenerife, you can’t go wrong with a Nest Hostel. They are all great. Some are as small as a house. And others feel like a resort. But all are clean and really make you feel at home.
