The only slight let down was the breakfast which was ok, but fairly basic. (Be aware though that though Hotels.com stated that we would pay on arrival, the hotel take the cost of the first night 5 days in advance. Not a problem, but there was no warning.) "

"My wife and i stayed here as a stop while walking the Camino de Santiago. What an exceptional place! The building is charming, the breakfast layout is better than many others we have had at a much higher price, and the staff are extraordinary and helpful in so many ways. Highly recommended!"

"This is a very nice place to stay on the edge of town. Nice and clean though our room was showing a few signs of wear and tear, only to be expected with constant use and maybe one or two less respecful guests? The staff are very polite and helpful. Bed was big and very comfortable.

"The only thing is that due to its location the parking is complicated and smelly, we just left the car in there to the last day. The breakfast buffet was just good, but they don’t clean the used tables, so we moved the dirty dishes ti another table to be able to seat where we want, and you need to ask for juice etc; the staff were good and nice, but what happen is that there’re only two workers; they moved fast and wanted to help everyone but there were much of guest for only two staff. On the other hand Marea Alta has great menu and the staff was very professional and friendly; the paella was exquisite, I recommend it. "
