"A really nice boutique hotel which was comfortable for our family of four. Located steps from the fortress and the town square we could easily walk or jump on the city transit (included in the stay). I would recommend reserving parking in advance as spaces are limited."

Breakfast had a good range of choice, and a good size room so even when busy, didnât feel overcrowded. The bar downstairs is nice - great for people watching the lobby! "The hotel is in a great area however you canât drive there because there are gates around old town. You need to make sure to call the hotel and get the address of a parking structure near the hotel, then we had to drag our luggage over from the parking which is about 10 minutes walk. There are gates on both sides of the town that if you are a first timer, you will have a hard time figuring out. The hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Very minimalistic, barely any toiletries, itâs LOUD and even the fans in the room are loud and have bright lights. So if you canât leave the window open, you are stuck with loud fans with bright blue lights. Location wise itâs in the middle of everything and the staff was SUPER friendly. "
"Truly the greatest stop of our journey through the Alps this summer. We were torn whether to stay outside the city center at one of the other communities around Hallstatt but in the end we took the plunge and stayed at Heritage and it didnât disappoint. We were able to amble through its quiet streets at night amidst the drizzle and rain and it was perfect. Throw in a good meal at the restaurant there when the other places in town were closed or fully booked and Iâd go back again and again if I could. What a magical place Hallstatt is and what a way to complement it by the hotel."
