"Beautiful hotel with easy parking in the courtyard for our small campervan. Hotel initially a little difficult to find as it is hidden within tiny streets but we were pleased with the location once we had found it. There are fabulous gardens to walk around next door. Breakfast was delicious and the tall chap in the evening restaurant spoke fantastic English and was really helpful when making arrangements for a late key. I would be happy to stay again. 👍"

"Nice location. Restaurants nearby. Room with balcony had nice views however the bathroom floor was dirty and thankfully I had cleaning wipes to clean hair plus dirt from a previous guest. It would be nice if housekeeping knocked on the bedroom door before entering at 0800. One does not appreciate an audiemce whilst in the shower. Great to see that dogs are allowed. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of fruits, cold and hot bites including gluten free options. Bar and reception staff are friendly and welcoming. We would return"

"Exactly what we were looking for. A nice, clean simple place to stay! The breakfast was great with everything we wanted without being overly wasteful. I really liked the effort they put into sustainability. Would book again!"

"Beautiful hotel and area . The street below was noisy due to a lot of traffic with open windows in hot summer . Maybe ac units in rooms and more fans would help with noise reduction. Restaurant was fantastic and breakfast ! "

"The room was modern and clean, looked freshly renovated. I’ve missed shoehorn though. Breakfast was inclusive in room price and was indeed very good and varied but for cakes which weren’t sufficiently offered. All in all very good hotel for reasonable price."

"Way better than expected. We thought at the train station it wouldn't be much. We were thankfully wrong. The room and hotel overall was wonderful, and close to the market place. Very convenient when using the train for a tough of Germany."

"I was charged for the booking by Expedia but the hotel said the room was not paid for, so we assumed it was payment on arrival and paid the hotel. When we returned home, we found that Expedia had also charged us for the same stay. Furthermore the hotel did not provide us with an official receipt, that we can remember. As a result, we are having difficulty getting our duplicate payment refunded from Expedia. We are attempting to contact the hotel to obtain a copy of their receipt to prove to Expedia that we have paid the hotel, directly, in the hope to get our duplicate payment refunded."

They had left a phone number, so I had to call it to find out where the key was. This was a bit uncomfortable for me, especially when you arrive somewhere unfamiliar.”"

"Hotel staff were very attentive and went over and above to accommodate our needs. Great atmosphere, mix of business and tourist clientele. Clean and comfortable rooms - even the standard ones. Lovely breakfast buffet too! We come to stay here regularly and will definitely do so again"

"Lovely small hotel close to the historic part of Wetzlar. An easy bus ride to the Leica Museum. Recommend a taxi from train station as there is some uphill walking. Cosy room, great restaurant, excellent breakfasts."

The hotel was extremely clean, the breakfast was amazing with a variety of food options each day. I am vegetarian and the food was fresh. Most importantly all of the staff was remarkable and the cost was reasonable. I would strongly recommend this hotel if you are in the Gießen area."

"Our room was very spacious with plenty of places to hang jackets, etc. The owner went out of their way to help interpret for us to make things easier. The breakfast was wonderful. Eggs made to order. "

"Everything was wonderful. The only small difficulty was check-in was a box on the wall that you input a code and your room key pops out. I didn't know to look for this and stood around in the entrance for 30 minutes like a dummy. lol"
