Sulzberger Hof
10/10 Excellent
"It is hard to find spacious hotel rooms but this room had more space than we even needed. Comfortable beds, blackout shades, and beautiful views of the hills, Alps in the distance and castle ruins literally accross the street. It was peaceful and perfect! And the breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel were amazing!"
"the ladies in the front desk have to learn how to receive the customeers, they were rude & did give information about the hotel like: opening hours of the restaurant & the spa. we complained that the water in the shower don't run out. 3 days they did not fixe it. they do cleaning once in 2 days' the room was not clean - we put the sign of clening, they did not clean. one of soap bootle was empty- they did not replace a new one....... "
"Good location within walking distance of bus/train station and supermarkets, inside the old town. Clean accommodation and friendly staff. Easy access day/night. "
"Decent airport hotel, semi-staffed during the day. My room was a very decent size and comfortable enough for my one night. I didn't really use much else, but it's a good location for the airport.
I noticed that there was no air-conditioning "to save the planet", however that ignored the fact that there was a massive radiator on the wall that probably uses much more energy in winter than an A/C unit that can powered by solar. I'm thinking the hotel doesn't want to invest in A/C...."
"Great hotel in a beautiful area. Rooms was clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast is great with good choices, hot and cold.
Hotel arranged a late night check in as my flight was delayed, great service
Highly recommended,"
"Great location and reasonably priced. Lodges are a good size but there is a real issue with cleanliness. The whole lodge required a self clean before it was ready to move into. I do not believe that the cleaners at this park actually do their job. The Aqua Mundo is very good and there is plenty of activities to book. Staff were friendly. I would advise against booking this in the heat of the summer as the Market dome is not air conditioned and acts like a greenhouse. We have done 6 Center Parcs throughout Europe and this scores averagely in comparison. "
"Reception on floor 1, but check-in was in the restaurant/bar on floor 0. Took a bit to figure this out. Air conditioning was struggling to cool the room--probably due to dirty filters (there wasn't much airflow)--but the neighborhood was quite quiet and the night air was cool which allowed us to cool the room quickly just by opening the windows. Great place to stay right in the heart of this charming town!"
"A very nice hotel in Füssen. The staff and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will come back to the hotel, whenever we are back in the area!"
"Beautiful boutique hotel .. one of the best that I have visited. Lovely location on the river, nice views. We had a mezzanine room on the top floor bedroom with a bathroom above. Very clean. Location very good for access to the old town. Lots of Parking on site. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there is a fantastic Greek restaurant in the building which is not managed by the hotel.( However, this is where you take breakfast). When we visited the breakfast was very busy and some items were unavailable. The staff on reception are exceptional.. very helpful. Everything was first class. The only suggestion that I can give is that robes be made available ( especially because you negotiate steps to the bathroom in this type of room). Also, it would be appreciated to have cotton sheets on the mattress not the fitted type as used.
Otherwise all is good.!"
"Traditional hotel that had plenty of character, good parking and a super location. However, the furniture, carpets, etc all felt a bit dated. Breakfast was a bit on the basic side.
I'd go back though. The town centre was really good, loads of bars and restaurants that seemed exceptional value."
"Just an enroute overnight stay. City parking across the street easy with a ticket from the machine other wise 9 Euro underground. Staff friendly and informative, large room excellent typical European breakfast, quiet, window opens for fresh air,"
"The rooms were large, spacious, clean, and comfortable.
Booked hotel because it is a brewery with resturaunt but when we were there - the resturaunt was closed due to staffing levels (rest day).
Good, central location.
Ernst was very friendly, and interesting to talk too."
"We had two family apartments. One which was the main floor, and one on the third floor. The main level was okay temperature wise with a travel fan; however, the third floor was horrible even with a travel fan. I would highly recommend investing in two fans per room or air conditioning. Bed was comfortable; however, I would invest in real pillows or definitely bring your own. Overall we had a lovely stay. The elevator did breakdown once but was fixed within 24 hours. Location was fabulous and rooms were cute with well equipped kitchen. "
"This is a most impressive hotel with welcoming and professional staff, lovely rooms and a superb breakfast (it's a long time since I've had a fried egg in a hotel breakfast buffet). The room was spacious, comfortable and well soundproofed and also with very good blackout blinds. As mentioned, there is no car parking on site, but the municipal car park is a minute's walk away and is safe and inexpensive (there is also a shopping centre car park a five-minute walk away).
We will certainly be back here."
