"This place was amazing. Inexpensive and pet friendly, the front counter staff went the extra mile and the restaurant located next door had burgers to die for!"

"Loved the studio style of the room with a bed in a separate room and a jack and jill style bathroom. Was clean and quiet, though the room we were in had issues with the door not opening properly with the room key, something they should have already have fixed. Other than that it was a nice and convenient place to stay while we were visiting the Redwood National Park."

"Fun little motel. Our room was a good size. Huge bathroom. There was even a kitchenette with fridge, hand sink, and microwave. We had the bottom floor. Not the motels fault but the family with 2 children above us were so loud that i had to let them know. Dad apologized and we were just fine after that. Btw i waited until 11pm. Small parking lot but never had a problem getting one. Just a few blocks from old downtown and harbor."

"Highly recommend! Lovingly restored, beautiful furnishings, across the street from the historic Carson Mansion, sweet family onsite to make sure you're settled in, right near downtown and the harbor. "

"We had a great time here. The property is very nice, charming, well kept, quiet and thoughtfully equipped. We appreciated the full kitchen, fluffy towels and towel warmer that worked quite well, the abundance of chargers and outlets, the French press and coffee as well as the hot, fresh, home made breakfast each morning that came complete with assorted cut fruit, yogurt, orange juice and a tasty hot entree. Access to the lovely garden as well.

"We stayed here during our trip to Redwood National Park. It was a nice drive to the trails 35-40 min. The inn is located a residential area and felt very safe. We had a late arrival and Renee was very accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable... super soft sheets. The bathroom towels were fluffy and soft. There is even a towel warmer if you want. Breakfast was superb. Delivered hot and in a cute basket which included a skillet of apple and cinnamon pancake soufflé, fresh berries, ham...

"Historical building, small but clean room. Best water pressure I have ever experienced for a hotel stay, I will go back for it 100%. Very convenient location. Bed and Pillow have opportunity to improve. "

"Built in 1915 and historic! Very neat place to stay with a restaurant/bar in the lobby. I like the touch of using a real key for your room. Weather was perfect in July and so much to do in the plaza! "

"We travel to the coast a couple times a year and always stay at Blue Lake Casino. It’s clean. Staff is friendly and on-site food is always good. My son enjoys the pool and I like the proximity to the ocean. It is perfect for traveling between the redwoods south of Eureka and Trinidad/ Patrick’s point to the north. "
"Clean, renovated room. Good breakfast. Very nice overnight stay. Front desk staff was very friendly and professional.
Only issue was the old electrical outlets in the room that were loose and would not grip/hold the plug when you plug something in (like phone charger.) Phone charger would simply just fall back out of the outlet after you plug it in. These outlets should be addressed as soon as practicable. Other than that, very enjoyable stay. "
