"This B & B is run by Ryan and his mother from Derbyshire in England. It’s a very beautiful and peaceful place to stay. They are very helpful and very nice with nothing too much of a problem. Very knowledgable of the local area and full of ideas and information of places to visit and things to do. The accommodation itself is very clean and looked after. A continental breakfast is provided each morning. I would highly recommend staying here. "

"The hotel I would describe as average. A little outdated and the hallway was decorated in a really dark wallpaper which made it very dark and dismal.. The room was ok and the bed comfortable. The grouting in the bathroom was a bit black and mouldy. The lighting in the room needs to be improved as it was also very dark. The receptionist explained everything and we didn't have any problems."

Bed had a low metal headboard so it was very uncomfortable to sit on the bed and read or watch television. There was no chair to sit on. The room was serviced well however and the staff were very nice. THe food was a good standard."

"The staff were lovely but the condition of the 1st floor was horrible. It smelled of urine & cigarettes. The room looked clean but the smell was horrible & the door had no safety locks. I slept in my clothes & changed to shower & add fresh clothes before leaving. My 13 year old grandson asked if it was a hostel. I paid for 2 nights but we did not return & got a room in another place. "
"We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a beautiful and quiet location. It is small, more like a restaurant with rooms and is very traditional in feel. It takes around 20-25 minutes to walk into the town of Mayenne along the river. Breakfast was good and we had dinner in the restaurant one night which was very good. Staff are polite and helpful. There is a small bar near to the reception area, although beer is expensive. It is a great place to sit outside with a drink, watching the wildlife on the river. The weather was hot when we stayed and being an older style property, there is no air conditioning or a fan. As it is such a quiet area, we were able to open the windows overnight. If visiting this area again, I would certainly stay here, although not in July or August, when it is likelier to be hotter than it was when we stayed"
"We had the best experience at the Cabane dans les arbres. Our car broke down when we were 20km from arriving and the hosts came to pick us up, even though it was very late. They supported us (the parents) with food and moral support the next day while we were on the phone with the rental car company. Meanwhile, the kids had the best day of their lives swimming and on the property's zipline. The tree house itself was cozy, with a copious breakfast (as described by others) and everything was perfect."
"I imagine its just the age of the hotel showing and not so much the upkeep. We reserved this after showing up to 5 Themes and it being a room in the owners house. We weren’t comfortable staying there so we stayed here. It was the right decision. Definitely not a bad place and I won’t talk bad about it but I do think they could change a few things. That is all"
