"Although we enjoyed our stay, the hotel was definitely not anything like the photo... it was very tired with few amenities... the staff were excellent (welcoming and friendly) but over worked... the breakfast was good... basic but fresh and plentiful... but maybe overpriced at €12... it was noisy throughout the night either from the road or other guests... overall it was an adequate stay but could have been better with a bit of a spruce up"

"The room was a very standard for the price but had the advantage that mine was on the ground floor with a door that opened onto a small lawn (useful when travelling with a dog). The breakfast had a very good selection. The parking area was ample and the area felt secure."

"Campanile Hendaye is a convenient hotel for a one night stop. The reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room was functional and had coffee making facilities which was a bonus the only real let down was that the plug in the bathroom was broken and it wasn’t possible to have a bath."

"Charming hotel in a lovely area. There was so much to do within a 3-10 minute walk of the hotel. Shops, restaurants, fresh food market, beach, etc.
The room was very comfortable for 3 people. The bathroom was quite large with a nice shower. AC was a bonus, as was the mini fridge. Comfortable beds. Very clean.
Staff were very friendly and helpful in multiple languages.
If you have mobility issues, know that you cannot drive up to the entrance. And the elevator is really tiny so we mostly used stairs.
Parking is about a 4 minute walk with lots of stairs, and getting to the parking garage is a bit of an adventure. (Many streets in Biarritz are pedestrian only,) it’s also paid parking, with was rather expensive.
If you can avoid a car in Biarritz, I would. It’s a very walkable place. "
