"The room was very basic. The bed was made up like it was Summertime. There was no blanket or quilt on the bed for the middle of Winter. The room had a lovely view of the castle and a large terrace. It just needed a table on it to go with the chairs. There was parking nearby. The hotel is situated well for the town and the beach."

The room was large- beds were comfy and there was an amazing bathroom. Extras provided such as shower gel and combs!

The floors are not carpeted, so if other guests are moving around furniture in the middle of the night, you will hear it :-) Staff was excellent and all else really great. Would love to return. "

We actually walked everywhere but you have a taxi stand right in front of the hotel which is very convenient.

Couldn’t get a better location - 8 min walk to the Cathedral .

Swimming pool area was too crowded for us to even get a seat so that is an issue. The biggest disappointment for us though was that the restaurant on the top floor with its spectacular views and interesting sounding menu is closed on Mondays so we lost out on that and we were both dying to sample the menu:( "
"An excellent hotel, about equidistant from the City of Arts & Sciences, and old town Valencia. I'd definitely stay here again. My only quibble (apart from the usual lack of real coffee in hotel rooms in Spain) is that the WiFi Internet is a bit slow by 2025 standards."

"Las Arenas is a beautiful property on the beach. The breakfast buffet was of high quality, the rooms were of good size and spotlessly clean, the staff were all friendly and kind. The concierge had great restaurant recommendations. The swimming pools were clean and large. Our only complaint is that at this price point a guest should not have to feel stressed about finding a seat by the pool. There is a rule that you can’t save seats for more than an hour but there really isn’t an easy way to enforce this. I am not sure how they can remedy this but they need a lot more seating by the pool. But I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was so beautiful, and well maintained. I highly recommend it. "

The capsules are definitely not noise canceling, and you can hear people moving around. But all of the guests tried very hard to be quiet. Shared bathroom spaces were very clean. Better than a traditional hostel in my opinion because at least you have privacy within your capsule. "
