Two main problems: no hot water and WiFi was down. There is no front desk to report issues and we felt bad considering this to the level of calling the emergency number, especially since we had limited time to wait for someone to arrive for fixes."

"The hotel was very nice. They are remodeling each floor starting at the top. We were able to stay in a newly remodeled room for 4 nights. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was good with several choices. The indoor pool was quite nice.. Overall, we were quite happy with our choice."

"The gentleman that checked me in was an absolute delight. Big smile, very friendly and personable. Possibly the property owner. This is an older property that has been upgraded and is in great condition. For the budget price of the room I was expecting something dilapidated and was quite happy to find a very well cared for motel"

"It's a motel along the highway...you know it's not the Ritz. But this small property is maintained very well. It's clean and the area around the hotel is mowed and kept tidy. The staff and manager are excellent. I was staying there while at a dog show so had my Dalmatian with me. Upon check-in, they made sure I had a room near an exterior door for easy outside access. They were always kind and responsive. Another guest hit my car in the parking lot (elderly gentleman) and did not try to contact me. Management went above and beyond to review camera footage to find "whodunit." The security cameras are excellent and we did identify the other guest. The manager also stayed with me in the parking lot when I approached the other guest for insurance information. This may be a small, simply motel, but they sure understand customer service. "

"Nice quiet hotel in quiet town just off 44. A few fast food and gas stations around. But our best find right in town was a Mexican restaurant called Camilas. It was family friendly, the service was great, and the food was better than great! We got into town late on a Sunday where few places but bars were open. We drove around a little and saw the lights on at Camilas. It was after 8:30 and the sight said open til 9. We walked in and saw it was families and nice and quiet. The hostess checked to see if the kitchen was still open, and invited us 4 to take a seat. The prices were very reasonable and the food fantastic. We’ll say at this hotel again so we can eat at Camilas!"
