Have to specifically ask when they clean up the room. Location of the hotel while further away from the downtown area worked out for our needs as we had access to a car to get around. 2nd time we’ve stayed in this hotel over the years and not many guests. "On my trip from Laos I decided to stay in Udon Thani for 2 nights and I chose the Kavin Buri Hotel. The place has a rooftop bar and swimming pool, the water was crystal clear and you can see the whole city of Udon Thani. The rooms are a little small but there’s a balcony too, in fact the hotel rooms are designed to keep the heat out and keep cool inside and that way the A/C doesn’t have to work that hard this way. The included breakfast is good, there’s Thai options too and there was red curry and rice in the buffet and it was very tasty. The place is very close to everything, the big shopping mall, the night markets etc. The staff were friendly and professional and I got a free airport transfer in the package, I didn’t have to deal with taxi drivers dubious tricks. If your new to Udon Thani I’d highly recommend Kavin Buri Hotel."
