The hotel grounds are spacious and beautiful and I had a room which, once reached up the steepish backstairs, was large, very comfortable and well equipped. The bar too was a bit of an issue, however, this was made available to us and dining Al Fresco with a beautiful view was accomplished.

"Medieval monastery converted to a beautiful hotel with loads of character and charm. Lovely grounds surrounding the hotel were ideal for afternoon picnics or reading under the shade of the massive pine trees. Great restaurant in-house with locally sourced menu. Every detail was perfect and the staff were brilliant. The surrounding Gorges du Tarn and Gorge de la Jonte were absolutely astounding. Great base for exploring the Cevennes.
