"The staff at the Zanzibari hotel were exceptionally attentive and the service was always prompt. In a place where the main beach can be over run with tourists, it was such a pleasure to step into the quiet oasis that is the Zanzibari hotel grounds.
This is a great gem of a property in Nungwi and would only improvements would be to upgrade the quality of the food, which was "safe" but very bland and to upgrade the plumbing issues in unit OC1. "

The price i quite high, and one of the reasons is that they also have half and full board and all inclusive option available as well. This makes the resort feel less exclusive. When we booked the half board had same price as bed and breakfast so you're kind of forced to take it. When we signed the dinner check the included buffet dinner was valued at about 40 USD pr person. I would have been so much more...

"We honeymoon’ed at My Blue Hotel for 6 days and loved it! The hotel property is beautiful and clean. We chose the half board option, and really enjoyed the breakfast provided by the hotel. There are also several nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner that are walking distance.
Furthermore, the staff were lovely. We had a smooth check in and check out experience and the cleaning staff left cute designs with towels and flowers on our bed for our honeymoon.
The rooms were good - had everything you need including bug nets! Staff would also spray the room in the evening to keep bugs away which was greatly appreciated.
The view of the beach was great and we didn’t have any issues getting a beach chair to sit on at any time of the day.

The staff was so nice and welcoming to me and they took my luggage and show me my room and later I had dinner which was amazing and their breakfast is also good. I only stayed for one night but it was a wonderful experience. The property has amazing views and a great to sun bathe. Definitely a Top stay in the Zanzibar area!"
