"Nice modern hotel right in the center of the old city. Great terrace out front but expensive. Has air conditioning unlike many other hotels in Normandy and Brittany. The people working there were helpful."

"Perfect hotel, close to main gate with close proximity to restaurants, shopping and beaches. We had the room for 4 which was perfect for a family of 4. Plenty of sleeping space and bathroom was quite large. Great restaurant right in lobby which we were easily able to grab food/drink from. Highly recommend!"

"Check-in was easy to find, they were very accommodating with storing our luggage until we checked in and after we checked out. The room was small, but completely sufficient for 3 people. It was clean, comfortable, and we would stay there again. We did have a bit of a walk to a secondary location in order to access the room, but this placed us closer to the edge of the island which gave better views and a more comfortable breeze with the windows open. "

"We had a great time staying on the island in this cute 4 single bed room. It had 2 single beds pushed together on the main floor and then a loft with 2 single beds. The bathroom was large and newly redone. We were able to open the windows for a draft and it was very quiet until around 9am. We were able to enjoy exploring the island and liked the back door that went right out onto the ramparts. There is a very cute courtyard that guests can access that we didn't realize. Beautiful flowers and tables, we had a picnic out there. "

"Usual mass accommodation hotel, however to our shock, the room was big, clean and the bed was massive. Reception were very helpful, with a bowl of jelly sweets on the counter. A couple of bars and restaurants within a short walk. Plenty of free parking. "

"Very nice place to stay. Very good service and staff is really great. Just a few minutes by car to a parking lot or 25 minutes walk to the Mont St-Michel shuttles in a safe track. Nice spot to see Mont St-Michel from a distance in the morning. If you like sheeps, you will be able to see them pass by twice a day. Very cool to see them with the dogs doing their job."

"The bedroom was comfortable, the bed faced the french windows which opened up to a view of the ramparts and the sea. The bed was very comfortable and there was an ensuite. Hotel located centrally in the heart of one of the main squares, convient for shops, accessing the ranparts and the port. It has a wonderful restaurant attached."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. We took a family room which was spacious and clean and exceptionally quiet. The location is great in order to visit Mont St Michel, either to walk or take one of the many local bus options."

"The Ermitage Hotel at Mont Saint Michel is an amazing and charming place! We loved the hotel and its people. Starting with Jean-Marc, the concierge, who immediately contacted us. Jean-Marc is a fantastic and smart tour guide with incredible history knowledge who took us to the most beautiful towns and landmarks. Then, Vincent, who works at the hotel restaurant. Jean-Marc and Vincent are wonderful hosts who made us feel like they were good friends of ours. The Director Werner is also really nice and ready to assist guests with any request or wine selection questions; and last but not least, Sabrina and Loic who were terrific too! Thank you again to all of you for an awesome vacation!"

"Very nice hotel well located nearby the intramuros quarter. The parking was a little challenging during the day but easy at night. The staff was helpful and kind."

"The shower was the worst part no pressure water at all wifi was cutting on and off all the time the tv took about an hour to sort itself out the bathrooms floor was grim I had to take a shower with my flip flops. Next door from us they were so noisy and annoying to the point that out bed was moving through the wall. "

"Very nice little apartment away from the business of St Michel. Kitchen was so nice to have after eating in restaurants for the last 2 weeks. Kids loved the pool, and adults enjoyed sipping wine on our deck. The staff was very friendly and was able to get our place ready ahead if check in."

"the hotel appears to be newish. everything was clean and in good condition.the breakfast was €15 but was excellent. not the nicest part of st malo but only 7 minutes by car to the old town,ferry and beaches..would definitely stay there again. "
