"Super friendly staff, very attentive and accommodating.
Unexpected large rooms, cold and quiet A/C. Great breakfast and food.
Best value for money in the Portugal coast. Will recommend to anyone going to the Praia de Luz area.
Will come back! "

"Flor de Esteva was more than great. If you have the chance to book the room with the yard, it’s definitely worth the few extra dollars. All around perfect location if you’re looking to visit Sagres."

"What should we say about that hotel. First in the hotels own description is not right. And what is really bad... the room is always cold and your closeth is always wet. every morning there were big perls of water on the window.
It was for us a bad experince. It looks nice but we would never come back again.

"This hotel was a highlight for our trip through Portugal. The room was very spacious for 3 of us and we had a nice terrace that overlooked a beautiful pool. The breakfast and bar service were wonderful. At breakfast, one of the staff members gave us recommendations for 2 beautiful beaches to visit - Salema and Arifana (need a car to reach both but both are stunning!). This area is quiet and had a calm/relaxing vibe. The restaurants in town are very nice! We definitely plan to return and...

"Really well thought through and run family-friendly resort. Lots of fun and activities for children and their families to do together. And a nice combination of self-catering and catered options. "

"Stayed 3 nights with our 2 kids.
Good:
Spacious and efficient.
Not so good:
Check in at 4 PM, check out at 11 AM.
More a holiday village than a 5 star hotel."

"Beautiful hotel in stunning location. Despite lots of staff about slow check in & very slow service in pool area.
Second time staying here, will be back as it’s overall a stunning hotel in one of the nicest parts of the Algarve "

"Lovely resort with well-maintained gardens and excellent facilities.
The apartment was fully equipped and ideal for a family with small children.
Its location—close to the beach with a beautiful view—combined with great service makes this accommodation something we can highly recommend."

"The resort was great with a really nice pool and few other amenities. The rooms are a little out dated but were large and roomy. Nice beach less than 10 min walk away. "

"We had a wonderful stay at ocean view Hostel in Lagos! The hostel was impressively clean, and the daily housekeeping kept everything spotless. The pool area was a fantastic spot to relax, and the kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. We particularly enjoyed the terrace upstairs – it offered a lovely view and was the perfect place to unwind with a cup of the free coffee they provide. The rooms were comfortable, with both a fan and air conditioning to keep things cool. For...

"Gorgeous hotel. Excellent facilities. Had a fabulous massage at the spa.
Food ok, not quite 5* in my opinion, but ok.
Pretty far away from Lagos and its beaches, car or Uber required but that was fine for us"

"Loved our stay! It was just what I was looking for. Quiet luxury, not pretentious but inviting, lovely amenities, staff and very well equipped apartments. My only minor complaint was there was a lot of construction nearby which was off putting at the sandy pool but it wasn’t very intrusive couldn’t be hard at the other pools"

"Easy to walk around, beach shuttle is great! Rooms are outdated, dog friendly hotel but no area for dogs to run around and play, had to cross the pool with dog from our room and go down stairs and elevators just to get outside and go for a walk for them to relieve themselves. "
"We stayed at Iberostar Lagos in late July with our extended family — 8 of us, including grandparents, kids (ages 7 and 9), and adults with different dietary needs — and it exceeded expectations.
The location is unbeatable: right above Meia Praia, with stunning ocean views and easy beach access. You’re close enough to enjoy the energy of Lagos town (just a 5–10 minute drive) but far enough to feel relaxed and quiet.
Rooms were modern, clean, and spacious. Loved the water stations all throughout the hotel. The staff was absolutely fantastic!!! Carolina, the manager, was always available and helped us with restaurant recommendations and planning our day. Top notch!
Ismael and Anna were excellent
from the check in process to any questions we had in between. Paulo and the entire bar staffed attended all our drink needs and were very friendly. The kids loved the kids club and the staff there (2 lovely ladies). Breakfast buffet in the morning was lovely. Shalini at the egg station was extremely nice and a great chef.
Service was friendly, and the hotel had a mellow, unpretentious vibe. The pools (indoor and outdoor) were clean and not too crowded, and our kids loved taking a quick dip in the mornings.
Iberostar Lagos hits the mark.
Would definitely return!"
"O hotel é muito bem localizado, muito embora não tenha estacionamento próprio, há vagas gratuitas em frente. Recepção solicita e eficiente. Café da manhã delicioso, com vários itens sempre frescos, frutas, pães, e frios. Quarto com varanda, chuveiro potente, cama confortável,e roupas de cama e banho novas e perfumadas. Fui por recomendação do meu filho e nora, e eu mesma recomendo a estadia no CARVI."
"Just an outstanding property. Apartment was extremely spacious and very clean. Weirdly, we stayed in a 2 bed apartment last year which had a washing machine but our 3 bed this year did not (!). Location is perfect. A short 5 minute walk to the supermarket and 5-10 minute walk to the marina and old town which has lots of shops and restaurants. I’d like to specifically mention Amy at the pool bar who was genuinely brilliant throughout our stay. She was so helpful with regards to restaurant recommendations and was such a lovely person to deal with throughout our stay. Overall, Marina Club is just outstanding, we are really looking forward to our next stay. Highly, highly recommended."
