- Large crane and construction immediately in front of the property which we were not informed of
- You need a car. The property is quite far up a steep hill with no pavements so if you have a pram or need help with walking this probably isn’t the place for you. Very few amenities nearby but this makes it a very quiet place to be which can also be good!
- Kitchen is not very well equipped. If you’re staying for more than 2 nights you’ll need to replenish toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets etc
- Weak wifi - sometimes didn’t work at all
- Our water was turned off for a few hours one morning with no notice.

Situated in a charming village, the hotel is close to delicious Italian restaurants that are both affordable and delightful. "AMAZING! Beautiful quaint resort off Lake Como. Generously caters to all guests: couples, families, with pets, etc. Gorgeous infinity pool with relaxing deck area next to a lovely grassy open area shaded by rows on f trees. Breakfast is fantastic with excellent cappuccinos and a delicious bar, with quickly made hot options. We met with friends and family for lunch & dinner off property, but looked very good. There is a Laundromat just around the corner if needed, which we took advantage of. Our kids especially liked the beautiful pool and relaxing patio attached to our room. We appreciated the separate bunk beds for our kids to sleep as well. Wonderful resort, hope we are able to return again soon!"
"The staff made us feel really pampered. We arrived just after midnight, and the concierge came out to our car to greet us, carry our luggage, and show us to our room.
The maids were incredibly attentive with fresh towels and cleaning the room. The dining room staff were always polite, courteous, and professional. The hotel was superb!"

"quite a long walk from train station ( 1 km) no taxis! but pretty well the closest. bar is also reception (which was great as I was desperate for a beer after bus substituted for train! efficient small lift, comfortable room with large comfy bed & plenty of electric plugs. quiet in room despite it being a Saturday, although restaurant full with waiting list. great well priced Italian meal (despite being promoted as Sushi - which was available -after a fashion)! slept well. Owner opened breakfast early for me as I was booked on an early train which was greatly appreciated- thoroughly recommended "
