"What a charming property. An old inn so it should be expected it is not modern but has been sensitively maintained. Staff were helpful and the manager was very hospitable. Food was exceptional. If you want a more traditional stay in a lovely location within the Lakes I would recommend "

"This is a lovely hotel in a great location. My room was gorgeous and had the best nights sleep I’ve had in years, as the room is sound proofed. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
Just a few things to be aware of. This hotel is quite expensive to book, and it’s a little cheeky they charge an Additional cost for parking, £25 for the night. It does not have aircon so is quite warm. The food and drink are overpriced. (Recommend going elsewhere) However, it is a lovely hotel and you can’t beat the location "
