"The water pressure was awful. The tv didn't work.they only have 2 carts for luggage. I had to make 2 trips. The hallway and lobby has no air conditioning, when it is hot out it is very hard to breathe going up to your room including in the elevator. "

"This hotel is in the process of being renovated. It was clear that our room had recently been done, by the smell of fresh paint, but there were still some issues - our deadbolt didn’t work, the water pressure in the shower was pretty bad, the fan in the bathroom was very loud, but only when the door was closed (strange!), and there was something all over the bathroom counter, which I’m guessing was putty or something from the renovation because I couldn’t clean it off. Overall the room was fine...

"This was my second stay here. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. Breakfast was good, the lady running it does her job extremely well. Nothing runs out when she's on shift! She's off Sundays and Mondays FYI! Great lady! There's a killer burger place less than 2 miles from here, KC's. I'm pretty sure I'll stay here again next time I come up."
"The property is very cute and we enjoyed our stay. The area is great and there is plenty to walk to. The rooms do not have a coffee maker or refrigerator. There is ice available, but you have to call down to request it.
There is a coffee counter in the lobby area to buy coffee, but it’s only open Thu-Sun, so we had no coffee available since we weren’t there those mornings.
The bathroom is very small with little counter space, but it worked out okay for us. The shower is also very small and made it awkward to shower. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the couch is stiff.
We enjoyed both bars (there is a ‘speakeasy’ and a karaoke bar called Boombox). We wish they were open more nights. Bartenders at both bars were terrific. Friendly and full of recommendations.
The hotel staff was all wonderful, helpful, and kind. "

After a long trip accross the country, they were so kind and helpful and got us into our room quickly and with much needed humor and kindness. But a quick call to the front desk and a maintenance worker showed up at our room door. Within in minutes he rectified the situation and problem was solved"
