"Really enjoyed the property! Took my daughter to school at Syracuse;l the property is virtually on the edge of campus and about a mile from downtown on E. A Genesee Street (a main E/W artery. While the facility is somewhat dated and shows wear, the staff were all above and beyond. Also, the onsite restaurant and bar had excellent value for the price point - and more wonderful staff. Parking is on-site and safe. Overall vibe is relaxing, and there is an outdoor seating area for an evening...

"Hotels.com should not recommend at provide this as a hotel on your site. I booked this hotel 2 months before our trip. We asked for 2 1st floor rooms because of a pet and a person who has issues walking up and down stairs, they did not accommodate. We had what they called "the pet' room, the couch in the room was old and dirty, the bedding had burn holes in them, it wasn't really clean. The outside of the building was dirty and trashy. I paid a $23.40 pet fee (normal fees are maybe $10.00)....

"This was our second time staying at this property. It was EXTREMELY clean and the bed and pillows were heavenly! I had the best nights sleep in ages!! The free breakfast is considered a “grab and go”. Meaning yogurt, mini muffins, microwaveable breakfast burrito, coffee and tea. But we’re not big breakfast eaters, so it was ok for us. They have an online check in so basically it was just show my ID and get the key. Perfect. Same with checkout. Just leave the key on the dresser and go. Passing through when we encountered staff of any sort, they were very friendly and cheerful. The property was located right as you got off the highway. Couldn’t be more perfect! We totally recommend this property. We’ll be back again probably this fall."
"First off, all staff was very friendly and nice. Always there to help and assist. The rooms, pool, and common areas all super clean. Very close to the mall and surrounding restaurants making it the perfect spot to stay. Loved the GF options for food as someone with celiac disease many hotels I have stayed at do not offer GF so that was a huge plus! We will be staying here again and its pet friendly !!! One of my hotel favorites for me and my daughter. !!"
"The room was 110% better than the one on Oswego Rd in Liverpool.. The outer property could use a little TLC ...Over All - Nice/Clean rooms for the price. Will use them again... Plus - When parking your vehicle ,you can back right up to your room door on and AWESOME LOCATION - To Thru way and Restaurants...The bed was so comfortable enough I sleep for the first time in a 7 day stay in the area .."
"I liked the modern feel of the Tru. Carpets in hotel rooms always make me a little uneasy from a cleanliness viewpoint, so I was pleased to see hard flooring. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was fresh and felt soft on the skin.
Bathroom was spacious, clean and was well stocked with basic toiletries and a hairdryer.
Mini fridge in room was handy for keeping drinks cool. Adjustable AC in the room was a plus as it was over 30 degrees during our stay.
Check in and out very smooth. The included breakfast had a decent variety for families (eggs, sausage, muffins, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, bagels). A bit disappointed that the pancake machine had ran out of batter and wasn't refilled during the 30-40 minutes our family was in the breakfast room but the staff did keep the self service area clean and everything else seemed well stocked.
This was my first time at a Tru by Hilton but it would now be top of my list of options to consider on future trips."

It wasn't a large breakfast but it fit the bill. The hotel has a restaurant and a pub but did not have time to go to either.
