"I felt that the hotel was exceptional for what it offered and the price. The staff were super helpful. We had great service. The rooms were very nice for a European hotel. Our stay came With a continental breakfast which was great. We really liked the location in Florence proper. Everything was within a 15-20 minute walk. I will stay there again when we come back to Florence."

"Beautiful location overlooking the hills of Tuscany! Right from Martina checking us in, and the beautiful room with views, everything was amazing! Very clean rooms and comfortable bed. Very nice bathroom and all the amenities. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning, nice selection of food to choose from. The hotel terrace was a great place to sit and enjoy the view with a glass of wine (thanks Greg!). All staff were pleasant and friendly! Definitely recommend!"

"The top floor terrace faces the Duomo and Santa Croce, giving a spectacular view of the city lit up at night. The food was very good -- some fun, unique menu items. The staff was friendly & helpful. The only reason the couple of areas that I gave fours were that the room was on the small side, and there was some construction going on along the river -- not the hotel's fault, obviously -- that blocked the view of the river and made the area just in front look a bit industrial. Again, not their fault; just wanted to leave a heads-up that until construction is complete, the area around the property won't be as charming as I assume is usual."

"Amazing hotel. You’re 2 mins walk from the Duomo. We stayed in the suites which were nicely presented. The breakfast is 100% homemade, cakes, jams, marmalades. Very friendly staff. I’m not sure if there was a restaurant but you’re a short walk away from many. "

"Upside is that breakfast was included. Dinner menu was limited in choice. There were no lighter options. For example; salad, charcuterie board. The gardens and view are spectacular. The walls are surprisingly thin. I could clearly hear people’s conversations as well other activities. Air conditioning was working well which was appreciated during the warm days. Shuttle service has 2 drops off locations. Michael Angelo (great sunset) and the second location brings you within 10 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. Bring good walking shoes ! "
