"The Beverly is a great place to stay. Like being in your own apartment. The cleanliness is above reproach as is everything else about the place. Nice area and a 10min drive into Salem. I plan on staying there again."

"Room was upgraded at chech-in to an efficiency suite. Suite was big and clean. Would be nice to have outlets available near the beds, but everything was great!"

"I’d definitely stay here again.
It was very clean, had a great location and had one of the best showers I’ve ever experienced. They even had a nearby beach. "

"Overall, fantastic, much better than expected. Beds were a little stiff, but nothing game breaking. It's kind of out of the way of things which is nice."

"Hotel was on an industrial estate, but convenient for getting into main highway, or for going into Salem.
Room was spacious, separate bedroom and lounge/kitchen area as well as bathroom.
Breakfast was minimalist, coffee and porrige.
We couldn't get WiFi in our room, and desk staff didnt suggest any way to address. "

"Location was great. Restaurant was great. Room service had a lot to be desired. Also the hotel is older and is in need of a remodel. That being said, we had a great time in Gloucester."

"We stayed 4 nights and it was perfectly centered for where we wanted to sightsee. The front desk gentleman was very kind. The breakfast was ok. The room service lacked as we had to ask for towels everyday. The lake view was nice!"

"Great hotel in a great location. The photos don’t do it justice. Gorgeous lobby and feels like a historical hotel. Our room was clean and well appointed, comfortable beds. The free coffee was great and it was a short walk to many great places and the train. Highly recommend!"
"The Bedford Plaza Hotel is affordable and delivers way beyond that. It looks atypical of most reasonable places to stay for a night, but the Bedford Plaza is a stalwart and nice facility with its rooms, staff, available parking and distinctive interior. "
"Very friendly staff. Very accommodating. Went above and beyond. Would stay here again if in the area. Had a nice restaurant and bar where the staff was also very friendly! A great experience!! "
"This was one of our best stays by far on our 30 day road trip in July. Our room was beautiful overlooking the Boston Harbor which was a romantic view at night. We deeply appreciated the convenience of the high-tech set up allowing us to control everything on an iPad. That was a unique experience and one I wish all hotels utilized. The bathtub is a great soaking tub with a TV on the wall and there’s even a place to rest your arms. The shower was nice too. The room was a large size compared to most hotel rooms. "
"Pros: the staff were great, always so helpful. FREE bottled water and a variety of snacks in room, plus iced tea, lemonade, and popcorn in the lobby. Housekeeping was excellent. I stayed several days and my room was immaculate each afternoon when I returned from sightseeing. One cute touch - they change the rugs in the elevator by time of day- good morning/afternoon/evening.
Cons: the carpets/furnishings have seen better days. Some look worn/stained. The bed was too soft for my liking, but might work for others.
Overall, I would definitely stay there again. It may not be the prettiest, but everything else is top notch!"
"Right in the heart of Boston and convenient to Quincy Market, the Freedom Trail and so much more. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The room had a wonderful view, was spacious and very comfortable."
"The only issue I had was they hit us with an amenity fee. Maybe I missed that part when I made the reservation but still I don’t like that just charge everything up front so i know what I’m paying."
"The hotel was perfect. The location is ideal, it's very clean and updated and the gym was amazing. It had plenty of cardio equipment, a Smith machine, pulleys and lots of free weights. If you like to workout while you travel this is the hotel for you."
