"We booked this hotel to have a nap in before our train departed but it turned out to be quite nice for the price. It is the cheapest hotel I've ever booked but certainly not the worst. We would have happily stayed a night if not for time constraints. The room did smell a little bit like cigarettes and the bed was Vietnamese (so hard by western standard), but again for the price we were happy with it."

"Good basic hotel close to the train station, rooms are the usual Vietnamese fare with kettle and food basket (payable) hot shower basin and toilet in a wet room with complimentary shampoo, toothbrush and paste. Only odd thing was the plastic sheet on the bed which made a noise when moving."

"A truly first class fantastic experience at this property. Excellent service from the front desk to the restaurants to the service staff all throughout. Extremely prim and proper and well trained in the art of service culture. Surprisingly, this is an independent hotel not under any franchise but it might as well be! The standards were that good! Just walking distance to the Sapa Station where you can start your journey up the mountain of fansipan via cable car. Great experience!"
