"CHECK IN was fast and super friendly and reassuring that if we needed anything at all to let them know. Breakfast was okay, nothing fancy and few items to choose from. Our room was clean, and beds were great. Pool was clean and fun for the kids. It is pet friendly and so will keep that in mind next time there is plenty grass for pets to do business. "

"We spent a very hot day at Lagoon and were so relieved that the Hampton was so close. It is clean and welcoming. Staff is friendly. Our room was clean and large. It was everything we needed. The pool was an added bonus!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Compass Rose Lodge. It’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully curated—from the mint truffles on the bed to the excellent coffee and sandwiches available on-site.
One of the highlights was the observatory tour. It wasn’t just a peek at the stars; it included a brief tour of the property and its rich history, including a scale model of the solar system with the sun right there on the grounds! This scale is about 13 miles long but starts with the sun. We also loved learning about the first ski chairlift and the family history behind the lodge—it really added a personal touch.
