"The property is run down, rickety outdoor stairway and old and tired furnishings inside. The hotel also double charged me and because I booked it through Hotels.com, I don't have a booking number and can't get anyone to help me. However, if you're looking for some place to stay that's close to Skamania County Fairgrounds, you can't get any closer. "

"The cabins are super cute, very comfy beds, full kitchens with dining set ice already made in the freezer, ac on before we arrived. Very nice clean bathrooms, Roku TV's, wifi router, staff gave us a quick tour and showed us how to work things at check in.
BBQ area, fire pit area, Cornhole area, all out front in the shady green grass. Very nice place close to everything in town but still very quiet. "

"The owner was amazing and very helpful. The motel is on the older side, but we were not spending anytime there but to sleep, so it did not bother us."

"This is such a beautiful place with amazing landscaping and views of the river and the river's activity. Nice spacious room and good bathroom, quiet with a lot of really pretty places to walk. We will be back and we highly recommend this property."

"This was one of the smallest rooms we stayed in during our 7 day road trip but our stay was comfy. We had a king bed, fridge, coffee and good water pressure. The views of the gorge from the property were beautiful. The wineries were in close proximity. There’s a McDonald’s and Walmart and Starbucks about one mile away. Plenty of family owned restaurants too. "

"A nice clean travel motel where we occasionally stay two nights to get away and enjoy Hood River. It’s not a destination but it serves as an affordable place to base to enjoy the surrounding attractions. "

Hike the Pacific Crest Trail or cycle the Historic Columbia River Highway for breathtaking gorge views. Refuel with local brews and fresh-caught salmon at Thunder Island Brewing Co's riverside patio.
The little grocery store looks super sketchy, so if you need something go across the bridge to Stevenson and shop at A&J! Thunder Island Brewing has some really good food, including my favorite dessert: mango sticky rice! Also, ride The Sternwheeler!

Coming from the zombie city of Portland, its refreshing to hang out in the Gorge.....beautiful scenery
"Rooms were so spacious, the bed was comfortable, the staff was so pleasant and the VIEW WAS WONDERFUL!
It is not NEW or MODERN like Hyatt, but it is clean and amazing!!! "
"The property is beautifully maintained and clean. The pool, hot tub, and playground were pur favorites! We also enjoyed visiting the game room. We stayed in a cottage and absolutely adored it! It was very clean and well kept with all the amenities we could need. I was pleasantly surprised by all the up to date appliances, and loved the amount of space. Our family can't wait to visit again!"
"This is an excellent hotel for those who enjoy water views, with many rooms facing the river and having an outdoor seating area. Small minus for suite 001 not having shelves in the shower...when you pay premium, everything should be premium. "

"Great hotel, in the middle of the town. Walking distance to anything you may need. Parking is a bit confusing, check with the front desk for instructions.
One thing that is SUPER IMPORTANT before you book, check to make sure your room is not one of the rooms with a shared bathroom (3rd floor). It wasn't a problem for me but it can be a suprise if you dont realize this."
"Great stay during our visit to the area. Friendly and helpful staff, clean property, great breakfast and easy walk/drive to our destinations. Thank you! "

"Although not the fanciest property, the staff were super nice and the facilities exceptionally clean. Beds comfy and slept well. A bit of a walk into downtown but not bad. "
"I liked how there was a pool. I liked how there's refrigerator in unit. The downside will be that breakfast isn't provided as some other hotels. That's all I can think of."
