A/C unit is a wall-sleeve window unit that was very loud, especially when the compressor was running. Pool is in poor condition; there are duck droppings on the deck courtesy of the ducks that inhabit the pool when it is not busy.

"I don’t understand all the bad reviews, so I bumped them up from a 4 to a 5, to hopeful help that. I don’t know what people are expecting. This is the Jersey Shore and this is a typical Jersey shore motel. It might lack the amenities of other motels in the area, but it has ample parking and is clean. Which in my experience can be tough to find down there. Also the staff was very friendly and even helped me book another night over the phone on a Sunday night during 4th of July weekend. Keep on keepin on thunderbird !!!"

If you aren’t super picky, this is a great spot. It has everything you need for a beach hotel. Room was large and had all the basics. The manager was super friendly and made it easy for us. This is a beach motel, not the Ritz Carlton.You'll get a clean exterior entrance room, an option for an upper floor balcony to watch the surf and a place to lay your head after you come back from doing what you're there for...which shouldn't be lounging in a plush hotel. It's the beach. The staff is friendly, the desk is staffed 24/7, they have coffee in the morning and will even give you towels to use on the beach. The only thing that wasn' ok was booking through Hotels.com. They charged an additional $55 per night compared to booking directly with the property, and then refused to honor their price guarantee when called on it. There is no value added here."
