"This is a really beautiful, casual resort in a rural area of Virginia. The historical aspects and grounds seem well maintained. The rooms and bathrooms are large and clean. The fixtures do show some wear and age, though. And the included breakfast really is subpar, especially since this resort touts itself as luxury. Even given that, I would highly recommend this place. "Definitely not worth the price! Carpet old, worn and dirty. Shower/tub backed up while using. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Felt like we were going to roll out of the bed. When getting out of the bed, the bed would pop like it was going to break. Just a place to lay our heads. We will not stay there again."
