"The stay was great. Friendly staff. Very helpful. Great breakfast options. Bed was more comfortable than a lot of hotels I've stayed in. They had a pool table and a good selection of board games and things to do as a family. That was great. There were only 2 things I wish were a little better. The pool water was pretty cold. It was tough to get used to but a staff member did come in and turn the water temp up so it warmed up slightly. Also, I wish there was a microwave in the room. Overall, I would definitely stay again. "An exceptional stay in a unique inn! Lyle and Tammy were perfect hosts, and those breakfasts! Lyle cleared chairs from the gym (yes, there's an air-conditioned school gym) so that we could shoot hoops. We were upgraded at no extra cost to the gold suite from the yellow so that another party could have two beds. The yellow room would have been more than fine, but the gold was spectacular. Sadly, we arrived during a terrible heat wave. We still went on several morning hikes, including to the Pomona Natural Bridge, and in Giant City State Park. There will be much more to see and enjoy when we return."
