We were on property during the tsunami warning evacuation/preparation procedure and the hotel staff handled everything beautifully.

We only wished we were noritied it was an ajoined room ( we could hear everything in the room attached which can be a big lroblem if your a light sleeper like myself! ) but otherwise it was a wonderful stay. We loved the food options, the extra care the staff took to make sure our stay was enjoyable, they really went out of their way, and amenities. Plus, its maybe a 20 step walk to waikiki beach! Cant beat it, we would definitely stay here again! We loved it. "

"Stayed 7nights with our toddler. The hotel was great and in the best location. Walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants, and about a 10 min walk to the beach. Note that the parking garage is tight but if you ever drove in a city - you’ll be fine (park at level 5 or 6- hotel entrance is at level 6 within the garage). Bed is firm but you get used to it lol. The only disappointing thing that others have mentioned too is the pool which is goes up to your ankles or shines. They definitely could’ve built a deeper pool. "
"the staff were extremely helpful. The valet drivers were extremely nice and enthusiastic. I thought i would never find my grandmothers place ..lived on ala wai.askt valet if he ever heard of the alawai canal..the laughed and pointed and said its two blocks that way! i was nevrvous traveling alone but the staff gave me secure feeling. liked the pool -spa area very much..only two washers but was able to use them twice..guests were flexible on this. liked the abc store being rite by the lobby

needed small table to write on..Quiet? traffic noise was awful and a lot of sirens..parking around honolulu was very hard to find..found out about the trolley after being there 5 days..i need back support when i sit..only chair was on lanai porch ..i brought it in and the staff would put it back outside..could not get the air conditioner to shut off..had fire drill when i was there..alarm excessively loud...very limited tv program selection..but i was not in hawaii for television! so the problems were minor..staff
