"I booked this online not knowing anything about the area and just by the reviews mostly
We got there at dusk. Not knowing anything about the area arriving was a little iffy.
This place was awesome!!! The staff, the room, the grounds, the area. The staff was awesome even though we didn’t speak their language and they didn’t speak ours. Thank goodness for ITranslate. So kind and helpful
We are going to hopefully return and will stay with them again
Thanks for such a great stay. Your place was awesome. "
"I love the breakfast, so delicious, the staff was very accommodating and supportive.
they helped carry my suitcases up and down the stairs for check-in and out. Adjusted the menu selection to food I can eat and did their best to accommodate no-cross contamination or allergens. "
"The staff was very helpful even if they didn’t speak fluent English, we were able to communicate. The breakfast on the terrace was an experience to be had. The assortment of cheese, bread and local flavors was delicious. Definitely a place to stay."
"Very unique hotel and room, staff are extremely friendly and helpful! Loved our stay here. Highly recommend staying here to all visitors to Sanliurfa!"
"The staff tried to make the guests comfortable. The hotel was centrally located, easy walking around the center of town and to the bazaars.
Although cleaning was done regularly, the hotel itself looks very worn-out and so the environment is not very pleasant. A coat of paint on the outside and in the rooms will go a long way to make it not look and feel so run-down. The bathroom was the most unpleasant part. It is ot properly designed; it is very narrow. I had to literally sit sideways on the toilet as there was no space between the seat and the sliding door for feet and legs. The constant awful smell in there was hard to deal with. "
"We had such a lovely stay here. The two gentlemen were so warm, friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The old building was beautiful with a relaxing courtyard with fountain. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough. I would stay here again if I return to Urfa. "
"The hotel is about 350 meters from the main road and to get there you need to walk up a hill, its not steep. Its around 150 meters to Ibrahim Mosque and you can also walk to the park nearby Namrud Castle, around 400 meters or so, you will get a magnificent view of Ibrahim Mosque and Sanliurfa at night at the park. The hotel is 3 stories, with the breakfast served on the 3rd floor. Breakfast is simple but delicious. The staff was very accomodating to our needs especially the elderly. There is also washing machine and dryer on the 3rd floor. Te room decor is quite nice, we feel like we are staying in an ancient castle. The surroundings is quite and calming."
"It was the first time i left an hotel after the first night. I booked it based on the reviews but left me disappointed.
The staff is great, very nice and helpful, nothing against them.
But the hotel conditions aren't the best.
In the first room we found bugs and ants, so we were kindly moved to another room that was significantly smaller but a bit cleaner. The problem there was the security, the door didn't lock at all and we had to lock it with our suitcases during the night. As two women, we couldn't even sleep well. We decided to leave in the morning to another hotel because there were too many problems in only one night.
We asked for a refund for the rest of the nights not used, getting a denial from the manager saying there is no refund and claming are terms of Expedia, which expedia denied.
I am not saying don't go there but you know what you get."
"The room was small but neat and tidy. The weather was very hot but the AC worked well. Everything was provided that I expected including kettle, complimentary teas and coffees and toiletries. The mattress was smaller than the bed base but was comfortable enough. Staff were polite and efficient I was pleased with everything 😁"
"I had a great stay in this hotel, very good location in Urfa. The staff was really nice and very listening in our needs. I would strongly recommend it!"
"The staff at Taskiran were amazing. Super kind and helpful. Unfortunately our room was small and not in great repair. The buildings are historic and quite beautiful, so hopefully they will improve the bathrooms, decoration etc over time."
"The Manager Mr Mehmed was always available to make my stay memorable, comfortable and pleasant. Among the Staff, Fatih is the one who did the most for me. Besides carrying my bags, showing me the room, organising my breakfast and at the time of departure helping me to the taxi for the airport he did all this cheerfully. Dafne at reception was very kind, efficient and helpful in arranging my local travel and even organising room service. The paperwork and invoicing was handled smoothly and efficiently. I would surely want to stay here again and next time also bring my family. I heartily recommend this hotel to everyone. The room was clean, well provided and the breakfast sumptuous. The location of the hotel is excellent and central for everything. Wifi worked well. A BIG THANK YOU FROM PROFESSOR AJEET MATHUR"
"This is an absolute gem of a hotel, tucked away in a quaint Turkish alley. Their aesthetic is natural and rustic but also feels completely modern. They're is an open courtyard with a fountain in the center that is beautiful. Our room was very comfortable for my family and me, but I think this would be perfect for a romantic getaway! The owner is exceptionally kind and welcoming and had fantastic knowledge of the local sites, and the workers were absolutely dedicated to making us comfortable and taken care of. They were almost done with an addition that would add more rooms and a terrace. I'm excited to return for a holiday."
"Hotels in old Ottoman district narrow roads and ottoman architecture. Roads at night were dark enough and narrow enough to make my wife nervous. Hotels.com sent us an immediate con formation. However the hotelier rejected the confirmation and insisted that he needed to confirm it himself. As it turned out he had a room and we did book in after a half hour of conversation about how he needed to get hotels.com to recognize that he wanted to confirm"
