"Fantastic location with incredible views. Cabinas are large and comfortable. The nights are cold so plan accordingly! But they do supply warm sweatshirts, jackets, and extra blankets. Breakfast was simple but good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The proximity to Irazu Volcano cannot be beat!"

There's a fridge, microwave and "plug-in pan" on the big shared balcony, as well as some seats and tables and a hammock, really nice for chilling out. The balcony to my own room was much smaller, but still nice to open up the door wide for fresh air and putting clothes out to dry. The owners also run a rafting business, and fitted a tour in for me at short notice....

The food is made with love. There are monkeys, birds of every kind, frogs and his knowledge of these animals is very impressive. You will feel like you are part of his family. "This property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosí valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the family’s orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop solar heating system, and the bed was comfortable and cosy. Daily housekeeping was also provided. Visitors should be aware that there are two dogs on the property who are well controlled by the owners. We enjoyed our stay and it was wonderful to be able to stay in a small community away from the bustle of the nearby cities. "
