"Nice functional hotel 15 minutes from the main town. It has basic food but you can walk to other good food.
Yiu can get there by bus but in general touring the island is way more convenient with a car."

"Know what you’re getting for the money- basic hostel accommodation with no frills. No reception which is a massive problem if you need something, shared bathroom and toilet, basic breakfast and tired old rooms. Does the job justabout"

"Relatively cheap accommodatipn in Torshavn, rooms were fine with nice view over the city. There was a shared bathroom with another room. Breakfast was ok but quite simple."

"A very good budget friendly hotel in Torshavn. Breakfast was excellent. Room was very basic but adequate for a quick overnight stay. Within walking distance of restaurants and old town Torshavn. "

"Convenient location in the centre of Torshavn and excellent breakfast in a beautiful Scandi-chic room. The guesthouse, however, is more run-down and musty than it looks on the photos. Also, front desk closes early and you need a working sim card to call them + get your room key, which is less obvious than it sounds given the Faroe Islands are not included in many European roaming plans--they should communicate by email and thru the reservation app rather than assume calling them will be...

"The room was clean. Needed to download an app to check-in (not so easy on ship in the atlantic). When we came the pin code in the app did not work, because it was already changed by the receptionist. "

"We were a family of five staying here. Located in the cutest part of town. Very nice staff, helpful. The cabin we were in seemed brand new. We had a great stay!"

"We spent one night in this house. The decoration is cute and the simple design feels very cozy. The smart TV was a nice touch and we appreciated having it.
However, the ventilation was not ideal. The house only had a rooftop window, and the heating system made the space feel uncomfortably warm and stuffy. Even after turning off the heater, there was still heat coming from somewhere, so we had to keep the door open to create enough airflow to reach a comfortable temperature for resting.

"Photos make this property look better than it is. For a solo traveler who is not finicky about spiders, it's a great cheap option and it honestly felt strangely like home by the end of my stay, but I would personally not climb up to the upstairs bunk. The bathroom is tiny. Toilet is facing a wall, which makes it very awkward to use, and the sink is so tiny that I opted to use the kitchen sink instead. Otherwise, the property has a kitchen and everything else you need for your stay. There is a convenient gas station shop on the corner and a bus station nearby, as well as a quiet and serene park across the street. You can catch the free bus to the city center or take a 15-minute walk. The room was a bit hard to find as it is tucked away in a corner and looks like a garage, but that also means it is secluded."
"Loved this property, especially the deck which we used quite a lot! We stayed here 7 days. Parking was 500 m away and included EV charging which we required as we had an EV rented. Easy to use and charging is free on the Faroe Islands!! Great central location for all our day trips. Fabulous kitchen for us to cook which we did most nights. Only complaint was on Saturday night the 2 pubs nearby got very loud around 2 in the morning. But the 2nd bedroom would have been quiet. We also had a difficult time finding the accommodation as the road is actually a named walking path. More clear instructions would have helped us. Overall highly recommend this place!"
"Great location for exploring Torshavn on foot, as week as an awesome base for exploring the rest of the islands. Few steps away from the SMS shopping center and Effo gas station in case you need some food."

"This is a great place to stay. Wonderful location -- easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Small grocery store about 100m away! House was immaculately clean. Pictures online are very accurate -- my experience has often been that the pictures are much nicer than the property; this is not the case here at all. Host checked in regularly by email and responded quickly to questions. Absolutely recommend this property."
"All around good value. Particularly well equipped kitchen. Clean; comfortable furniture, spectacular view of Tórshavn. The owner is a very approachable man and was very welcoming.
Road noise was noticeable, but bearable."
"This is an excellent location, near to shops, restaurants and historic sites. The room, shared bathroom and public areas were clean with cooking and eating supplies. My frustration was the lack of a convenient wall outlet to charge a phone and bright bedside table lamps."
"Me and my wife stayed 4 nights at the hotel.
We had a great stay and have good breakfasts every day. The host Lilja is a fantastic person who tell us about what we did have for breakfast and tips us about different places to visit.
We can really recommend this hotel. "
"Clean apartment and nice kitchen. Very easy to get to town on foot. Need a cutting board and colander for the kitchen.
Found the washer finally. Door left of the entrance."

"Property was within walking distance of many restaurants, groceries, and port. Parking was right out front. Neighbors were very friendly.
4 of 5 stars for not making clear “shower” was actually a hose connection from the sink with a curtain that had to set up to encircle me each time a shower was taken. The water drained into the bathroom floor. The curtain space was so small it stuck to my body while I was showering."
"The house was beautiful. We did have to drive for any dining options or grocery stores but it was worth it. The size of the house was nice, the views were amazing, the amenities and the bathroom were perfect. The only downside was that use of the hot tub was an extra $200 usd which seems like a lot for something that should be included with the house."
"This property was very quaint and in a good location. The company Vert, that manages the property was terrible with communication and replying. Also, it does NOT HAVE a washer and dryer in the apartment as listed, it has a non woeking washer and dryer in the dungy dirty and unsafe basement. I would not stay here again. "
"This place was so so cute. I could stay here for a very long time. It was off by itself but walking distance to effo. The little house had everything we needed. There were 2 bedrooms upstairs and the living area, including the kitchen and bathroom, were downstairs. The floors were heated and cookware and utensils were all available for use. The views out the windows were beautiful. There was a small deck and balcony. It was clean and really really comfortable. What a perfect way to make use of space in this little house! "
"Very basic hotel in the town center. Clean, quiet, easy to walk to the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing, all cold foods, small selection. "
"Great property. Beautiful surrounds - perfect base for exploring the islands. But not much around other than a shop. No restaurant etc... Would stay there again. Felt authentic."
