"We had a superior King room which I'm glad we did as it wasn't particularly big bur was quite quirky, bed was comfortable and huge, breakfast was superb and Hotel was very central my only gripe was the lifts of which there are 4, one is used expressly for staff, one was broken during the whole of our stay (5 days) and one of the remaing 2 broke which left one lift for a hotel with 13 floors"

"The staff were very helpful and checked us in many hours before the normal time. Also helpful in suggesting and recommending activities to do or not do in the city. The breakfast served was excellent, although the vegetarian options in their dinner menu was very limited. "

"We really enjoyed our 3 night stay . Staff , location and cleanliness were excellent. Only fault I could find is the fact that water from the fridge was chargeable . This policy should be changed . Not becoming of a 5 star hotel ! "

"A very lively hostel with lots of people around in the evenings. Trendy decor. Fun atmosphere. Has an indoor futsal court!"

"A great place to stay for a city break in Stockholm. So easy to get to on the Arlanda Express from the airport but despite the location right next to the central station it was really quiet. There was an international conference on at the conference centre whilst we were there yet the hotel still didn’t feel too busy. The staff were really friendly and professional and the breakfast was lovely. Within good walking distance to the city centre and the old town the location was perfect for us. The whole trip exceeded our expectations; there’s so much to enjoy in Stockholm city centre and the Radisson Blu Waterfront was superb."

"I loved our stay at Hotel Rival. We traveled Scandinavia for over 2 weeks and this was my favorite hotel out of all the ones we stayed at. The room was spacious and the bed comfy. We returned to our room after our day sightseeing with turn down service and sparkling water on the bed stand. The breakfast was delicious and had made to order choices as well as a full buffet. It also had AC which is not always available at Scandinavian hotels. We rented bikes from the hotel and biked all around Stockholm. Thank you Hotel Rival for a wonderful 4 night stay! "

"Great hotel. Very clean. Central to shops and station. The only negative was that we weren’t told we had to make a reservation for breakfast. The restaurant was full but the wonderful waitress kindly accommodated us - we sat at the bar instead. Not ideal but fine. The breakfast selection was excellent."

"We stayed at the Marriott for one week on the occasion of the wedding of our son. Service was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Our room was clean comfortable and spacious containing everything that we need. Breakfast was excellent with an array of food catering for everyone’s taste. The only disappointment was that you had to pay extra if you wanted a fried egg. We had dinner in the restaurant on two occasions which was very good and reasonably priced for Stockholm. The staff were very good and attentive. We would definitely stay here again."

"First visit to Stockholm So glad i chose the historic Freys hotel Ideally located for fast link to airport on Arlanda express train Excellent location for exploring Gamla Stan, historical attractions public transport, walks by the water. Shopping malls, restaurants and lots of little city gardens, for cooler shaded breaks. The hotel staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. My room and facilities were clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. My breakfast was included and it was amazing with great choice, and although no real veiws in it's side street location, it was still pleasant to be able to choose to have an outside table. I purchased the little teddy bear (it's a nice touch that they place one in every room) as the money goes to charity 😊 I highly recommend Freys and hope to return in the future-- 5* in my opinion "

"The hotel was probably the highlight of our Stockholm trip. The lobby and the room were wonderfully furnished. The hotel staff was super friendly. And the breakfast was delicious. If you visit in summer, the rooms get quite hot (no AC)--you can get fan from the front deak if you ask though."
