That being said, this place was fantastic, gorgeous views of scenic Lake George, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Lake George. With so many activities to do on site. From a baseball/softball/ Kick ball field, shuffleboard, Watersports, a gymnasium. It would be a perfect place to go with a big family, a large group of friends, or if you want to unplug from the daily madness of being connected...

"This was our first stay at a family-run motel, and it was nice. Room was clean and tidy; I was very impressed that the toilet even had a "been clean / sanitized" type plastic covering on it (never seen that before). Our family really loved that we could sign-on to the TV with our Netflix account / etc, haven't seen that ability in our travels before. The room in general could use some upgrades - size of TV, bed comfort, doors/knobs. "

That being said, the sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable and the lake was lovely. $270 where we are from would be a very nice hotel. While the room was not beautiful, the lake was. The property is clean and neat and offers anything you can need: for grilling, firepit, swimming at the pool, ping pong, volleyball, you name it. We also can walk to the stables next door to take a trail ride. We always want to book the following year before we even leave. We stayed 7 nights. See you next summer Tom!"

"This was more than just another place to stay, it was a great experience. We stayed in the cottage and it was better than described. It was a perfect place to spend time relaxing. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen provided everything we needed. The entire unit was very clean. John and Yvonne were warm and gracious hosts. I just can’t say enough good about it all. "
"The room had a little kitchen, new bath and a full size grill and little deck attached. I wasn't super thrilled with the fact that it was like a driveway where our deck was and people across the way had a boombox speaker going. Lots of kids running around, basketballs and ping pong balls hitting the cars. We were able to cook a nice meal. It would be great for a family. There was one queen size bed and two twin beds in a separate room. The living room was fairly rudimentary, no coffee table. Furniture was pretty dated although the mattresses felt new. There was a new bath fitter tub, which was beautiful. Full size fridge was nice to have. Overall, it was clean, furniture quite dated and definitely a lot going on as far as kids go but the property has a gorgeous view, nice little beach with a dock. The pool was nice but if you are expecting the luxury the room that we had was certainly not what I saw in the pictures on the website. I was fairly certain that must be another area because we did not necessarily get what was in the pictures. Overall a good experience although not sure we would go back."
"The location is beautiful - a long frontage on Lake George. The condition of the property is, literally, pristine. I am not sure how it manages to be so perfectly maintained and still look like a traditional lake resort. We could not have been more pleased."
