"Great property and staff is very communicative! Easy to check-in/check-out. We were late to check in and had an issue with the lock accessing our keys. We could reach out to them easily, and staff was there to help in 5-7mins. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a group stay. "

"Super close to lifts, and restaurants. A little rough around the edges, but most things were fine. Appliances were all nice, and t.v. was modern.
To nitpick (since you asked), my biggest complaint would be that there wasn't a clean sponge in the kitchen sink, and the only cooking pot available for cooking would have been rejected from a second-hand store. I don't expect too much from rentals (ie, I usually bring my own knives and basic cooking supplies), but I want at least basic quality pots...

"The front desk staff was great! We wanted a balcony room, and they provided 2 options. The first room (213) had no screen on the door and the window wouldn't stay up. The second room (220) was better and had a view of the plaza which we enjoyed. The issues we had in this room: water to the kitchen sink was not on and the coffee machine didn't drip into the pot. Coffee ended up all over the counter. Aside from this, the bathroom was clean and nice. The murphy bed was comfortable. "

No air conditioning except for masters bedroom. Might be better to have portable AC in all rooms during summer. Most of of us, unable to sleep because it was hot when we went. 90s weather.
Fans are provided if needed otherwise ceiling fans are installed.

"We stayed at this property for two nights in July 2024. Tahoe had been experiencing a heat wave, so I wanted to cancel a week before arriving. Karen (the owner) made it clear that wasn't allowed. This property doesn't have air conditioning and is very old and dated. In our particular townhouse the sink in the bathroom didn't drain well, upstairs floor is very noisy when walked on, rooms did get very warm and uncomfortable despite the 70 degree weather. "I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this room was. Clean, well stocked, amazing view and incredible amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. My check in took less than 5 mins. We never had to leave the block with all the restaurants, shops, and entertainment that is in walking distance. Oh, and free parking, which sounds trivial until you realize how terrible the parking is around the area and how much the other hotels charge you to park. As someone that makes multiple trips to beautiful south Tahoe every year for decades, this hotel is by far the best experience I’ve had so far. I only had 2 complaints, the wrist bad they give you was too small for me to wear so I had to put it in my pocket, and the amount of dog owners that ignore the signs on the beach to keep their dogs off it. Overall, I am already planning to book a week here as soon as I can find availability. "

My only complaint is that the shower pressure needs to be increased. Low water pressure in the showers made the showers longer to rinse off the shampoo and soap. Other than that, everything was great. "
