After 2 weeks in Switzerland, everyday in restaurants, our best food experience was at the restaurant in the hotel. I just mentioned directly to the chef, a very nice person doing food with passion and love, you will taste it! I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. I am from Canada, Quebec and I will definitely return to this place."

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, booking a taxi for us when we checked out to take us to the train station. "My family and I just checked out of Hotel Silvio after a 2 night stay in Bellagio. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this hotel. First of all, the staff went above and beyond to assist my family in various ways. Marta and Veronica were so friendly and helpful in helping us navigate the city and its attractions. The hotel is very close to the ferry terminal and town center, so getting around is quick and convenient. The walk from the hotel to the city center allows you to take in the beauty of Bellagio.The property itself is very quaint, clean, and in a beautiful location, nestled on a hill just above the lake with beautiful views. We always felt safe. Breakfast was good and provided free daily. We would definitely stay at Hotel Silvio again!"

Just a tip...you need to reserve restaurant dinners several days in advance as they fill up quickly for local restaurants in the immediate area. The location of this hotel is not far from Bellagio but the ferry to Lezzeno ends earlier than other ferries so you need to plan accordingly or drive to Bellagio."

"A newly renovated and gorgeous hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Just steps from the funicular, this hotel was perfect for our stay in Lugano and exploring the surrounding region. The included Ticino ticket is a nice bonus but the value is in the quality and cleanliness of the rooms and beds and the premier food and drinks. I slept so well, even with a bruised ribcage. The included breakfast is really delicious with everything one could need to fill up and start the day. The restaurant and bar, Flamel, is incredible. The house cocktails are a must try that will change your perception of what a cocktail should be. The dinner is first class and every dish is a work of art.
An extra special touch is the foosball table in the lobby near the bar so we could have drinks while the kids played. I can't wait to go back and stay at this hotel again!"

"The Grand Hotel Victoria is an amazing property with a warm and friendly staff willing to help at all times. Our stay in a Jr Suite was spectacular, with a deck and expansive views of Lake Como. The rooms were very nicely appointed and the staff was very responsive to cleaning requests, turn down service and requests for things like ice and pillows. The Spa is amazing, with literally something for everyone, whether you like lap pools, waterfall massagers, hot and cold therapies, saunas and so much more. The beach club is a 5 minute walk down the street and provides multiple pools, lounge areas, dining and of course access to the lake itself. Finally, the food was excellent, from the breakfast buffet to inspired Italian meals. You won't be disappointed in this hotel, and Menaggio is a great location to explore all that Lake Como has to offer. "
