"It was a one night stay for us breaking a journey by car from north Italy to Calais. There is only parking for maybe two very small cars but we parked in a public car park “La Marie” which was a five minute walk and extremely reasonable at €2 overnight. Our room was ok and the little balcony with its cheery table and chairs was sweet. The public areas (staircase/tiny reception) are tired. Good location off one of the main shopping streets. "

"In the middle of the pedestrian zone, this place was really nice. Access by car was a bit awkward due to many barriers to access the zone, but once we were in, it was great. Nice (if somewhat dated) amenities in vintage surroundings, gorgeous dining room, excellent breakfast, lots of things to do all around. Very friendly staff. Definitely recommend!"

"I didn't get to stay there because I had to move my trip a week forward so they confiscated my money, claimed I had made a non-transferable booking although they couldn't show me where that was found in the contract. I won't ever use this hotel. "

"Good value for the money and easy accessible. We only were in Besancon for one night during traveling back home from Bordeaux. Overall the hotel shows good value for the money. Breakfast was of good quality and good selection. Only the bathroom needs to be updated, especially the toilet.
