Modern and clean, with friendly staff who were able to advise me on how best to use my limited time in the city (I walked along the lake to the ferry point that takes you over to Meersburg - fabulous), it was within easy walk of the station. "The reception was courteous and very helpful. Set me up with a hotel pass for the local transport. Gave me a map and provided useful suggestions Upgraded me when they realized it was my birthday. The breakfast was wonderful."
"We rented the apartment at the top of the building and it was simply amazing. The elevator goes directly to the apartment on the 5th floor where there are no other rooms or apartments. The space is large and everything is very well equipped. Very good stay. The only problem is that it is 30 minutes from the lake so you need a car but we had a car. I also wish the parking was free. Otherwise, the hotel is perfect."
"Lake Constance is a wonderful area for vacations. The Plaza Hotel in Friedrichshafen is located a bit outside of downtown. Its a hotel with breakfast only. No restaurants nearby. Parking was a bit of a challenge at times, more cars than spaces. Breakfast buffet was excellent every day. The service was pleasant/friendly. "

St Gallen hotel was a challenge to find due to how new it is but we arrived and were able to check straight in with the welcoming, friendly lady on reception.
