"Almost didn't stay there because the reviews weren't great. Not the newest most modern place but staff were all super friendly. Hotel was quiet, shower was hot, bed was comfortable. AC kept it nice and cool. Mini fridge worked. Outlets worked. "

There are several food options nearby and/or within driving distance. There is a restaurant on site as well. I'd stay again and I recommend it if you're looking for value and convenience. "Brand new hotel. Everything was perfect. Except, the hallway a/c was hot at 76° or more at times. The breakfast people were on top of everything. Never a mess spotted for more than a few seconds after someone left their mess in the table. The outside area was nice to relax. Indoor was nice. Lobby decor was very chic and clean. I wish I took more pictures. Definitely added to my list of favorite hotels to visit when I drive through again."

"This place should not charge more then $20 a night it is a roach motel. I literally seen a few roaches. I killed them but that is just nasty.the staff was nice but embarrassed about the property."

"This appears to be a family run hotel. The folks at the front desk as well as all other non-family employees are way above average nice and friendly. The breakfast was GREAT best biscuits and gravy I have ever had at a hotel and the good make your own waffles 😊. For a lower cost hotel it was clean and neat. We would recommend this to all but our snobbiest friends as a good place to stay if you are coming to the New River Gorge, very centrally located for all the main US Park visitor centers. Travel Tip - Do not miss the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine !!"
