"The hotel was wonderful. It was very comfortable and in a quiet location. The check in was contact-less, which was a bit confusing for me, but worked out well. Parking was a bit difficult as there are limited spaces in front of the hotel. There is additional parking down by the river but we did not realize this when first getting there. Once we figured it out it was not an issue. There is a kitchen available but no breakfast on site. You just have to bring your own food and cook for yourself. We walked to the bakery a few houses down and found wonderful breads and other things we needed. The only change I would recommend to their current operation is to add a breakfast option. There is enough seating for guests to enjoy a breakfast. Sadly the kitchen and dining area always seemed empty while we were there. Not many restaurant options nearby. But we enjoyed our stay there. "

"Easy to get to from the airport and parking available right in front of the hotel. Even though we arrived later than planned reception and the bar were still open and staff available to help "

"Great location. Very beautiful and comfortable. Offered discount for parking and had a place to store our bicycles overnight. The room was spacious and had good amenities. It is old so the floors squeaked in some places. The rainfall shower head was leaky and in need of replacement, but did not interfere with showering. Best of all was a small fridge and a fan. Would highly recommend!"

"Fabulous from start to finish! Welcome drink on arrival, early access to our room which was in the cottage, we ate in the restaurant, the food was very good, staff very attentive and lovely wines. Swimming pool was great and the sauna. Great location and will definitely stay again."

"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."

"It was a very nice experience staying at the hotel. The staffs are very friendly and the price are also fair. The hotel rooms are pretty clean and the location is amazing if you like to do more of walking or hiking. It was a bit private place, not much noise from outside. Just pure Nature. "When I booked this hotel I had no idea what to expect as I was ment to be going to Luxembourg but that hotel canceled on me so at the last minute I booked here as it looked so lovely. And I was not disappointed, I had no idea on the area or what to see or do. But once I got here the idea is to do nothing. Yes you can bike around or go on wine tasting but you can also sit and do nothing. That is what this place and hotel gives you. Peace and serenity. The staff are absolutely amazing and I need an extra night and they did their best to fit me in. I was so grateful. I did not taste the wine as I don’t drink but I saw many other visitors enjoying it. The breakfast was exceptional and just what you need to start up your day. The room and large and clean and have all you need to sleep and relax I was kindly offered a balcony room and that was just perfect for me. I could watch the world go by. I slept soundly and really enjoyed my time here. Will certainly come back. The manager (owner?) is second to none! Truly lovely lady. "

"Very nice, small, apparently family run hotel with a big room with a sofa and queen bed. It's a bit too far to walk to the center of town, but it is located in a quiet area and has free parking. The included breakfast is excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty. Even cooked eggs to order for us. The hotel restaurant offers a traditional German dinner menu. Our only issue is the stairs are somewhat steep. The staff are very helpful and kind. "

"Beautiful location overlooking the Mosel River. Park the car in the public lot and walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Room key is in the lockbox and easy to access once you have the code. We had breakfast at the restaurant located down the street from the hotel and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the Weihnachten Festival just down the street from the hotel (100 meters). "

"Staff were nice and helpful, though didn’t fix soap dispenser after i asked. There were things unexplained and it made the stay a little challenging. No drawers or closets for clothes in the rooms made it difficult to arrange clothing during the stay, shower only made the whole floor wet and other users of the bathroom have to walk on wet tile floor and use same wet floor towel. Breakfast was good but a little expensive 14€, even if you only drink one coffee and eat one croissant. Did not try the restaurant at lunch but the menu looked good. Pretty area but next to a dry cleaners and some kind of factory, but there is a supermarket across the street."

"Wir waren leider nur für eine Nacht im Hotel. Aber es war alles super. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, auch die Idee mit dem vorbestellen, sehr gut. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Alles war toll. Dann hatten wir morgens noch einen Nikolaus für jeden vor der Tür. Super lieb. Die Besitzer und die Angestellten super super nett. "

"Lovely place to stay and relax, great pool and sauna facilities. Nice restaurant and bar and easy parking. Nothing else around except a separate Italian restaurant which was basic but served fab food at good prices - a nice alternative to the hotel’s own restaurant. Safe and easy parking."

"This property was a little further out but it was very easy to navigate your way into the center of town-we walked to everything from this hotel! The staff were excellent and the hotel breakfast was the best we had in our travels. We traveled by bike and they had hotel storage and early check in. Would definitely stay again!"
