"Fantastic stay! Beautifully renovated chateau, perfectly located just a 20 minute drive from the superb St Emillion area. Very nice breakfast and we also really enjoyed the bistro in the evenings. Lovely relaxed staff, friendly and helpful. Great swimming pool. We really liked the robes to go to the pool in and the Rituals toiletries were a lovely luxurious treat! Highly recommended! "

"Unbelievable location !
Small, but clean and convenient. 24 hours service desk. All workable.
Affordable and workable ( do NOT expect any luxury there ) - not that kind of place."

"Nice and clean, very friendly staff is helpful and speaking English. Hotel feels fresh, location is convenient for travelling by, but not for exploring around. For the price it's an excellent hotel!"

"Wonderful staff and easy check in. The hotel itself is old and tired but opposite the rail station and surrounded by good food bistros.
If it is just a bed for the night this is it. "

"We arrived by train and the hotel was right across from main entrance. It was easy to jump on the tram to go downtown to dinner and site seeing. Very friendly staff."

"Needed a hotel before heading North for a wedding, it had everything we needed and the staff were excellent. We had a meal and a few drinks, we stayed in the better rooms on the top floor which gave us a great view over the river."

"The property is ok, as long as you don’t want somewhere to eat or something to do. It’s a bit remote. If you like very basic and cheap, this is for you."

"The hotel is situated on a street of cafes and shops and it is easy to find. It is equidistant between stops for the B and C trams and also near bus stops. On arriva in Bordeaux, I walked from St Jean train station and it was a pleasant 45 min stroll along the river.

"A little too distant from town to walk but the coffee shop next to Aldi was superb for breakfast as breakfast at the hotel was more expensive than we had expected. Being described as B&B , we had wrongly assumed breakfast was included"

"Loved our stay here. We had a very friendly warm welcome, great room, restaurant dinner & breakfast great, so convenient to have tram stop outside hotel for easy quick access into the city to explore. Pool was lovely and hotel has a great vibe. Will definitely return. "
"Un excellent hôtel, neuf avec de grandes chambres très confortable et parfaitement équipées
Un peu excentre par contre
Restaurant japonais excellent mais service ultra lent, à la limite de l’insupportable "
"The young man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast staff kindly allowed us to eat breakfast even though we were a bit late. Highly recommend "

"A stunning hotel with spacious modern well designed rooms, very clean and most friendly accomodating stuff. Loved e Rey minute of our passing through. Most welcoming reception! Un grand merci."
"Hotel Majestic is charming, elegant, and ideally located in the heart of Bordeaux. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and welcomed—the staff were warm, helpful, and always ready with great local tips. The room was cozy, clean, and quiet—just what I needed after exploring the city. A great choice for solo adventurers looking for comfort and convenience!"
"This hotel is in the middle of the vineyards so the food options are either eating at the hotel or going to an nearby city for meals. But the options in Saint Emilion are great and it's a beautiful old city. Labourne is a more modern city and is wonderful on Market day. The hotel itself is wonderful and comfortable..."
"A wonderful experience throughout our stay, staff were very warm & friendly & our dog was spoilt rotten with treats and a toy waiting in the room for her! A lovely room and very comfortable bed. Great coffee machine in the foyer & wonderful location in the centre of Bordeaux
"
"We loved our stay here. The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of parks, shops, restaurants, the tram and the river. The room was comfortable and clean and we even had a view over the city rooftops. The concierge was friendly and helpful. Bordeaux is a wonderful, fun city and Hotel de Normandie is an ideal base for exploring the area"
"Absolutely loved our time at Mama Shelter - from the moment we walked in the staff were super friendly and helpful and the roof top bar was great. Rooms were bright and clean with plenty of space. Would recommend adding on breakfast downstairs as a highlight too."
"Pre Hospitalisation visit so stressful, staff were so very pleasant and spoke excellent English making us feel relaxed and ‘at home’. Would have no problem in recommending."
"We booked this fairly last minute and would definitely stay again. Classic studio was comfortable and well-equipped, staff friendly and helpful, location excellent, close to everything although the courtyard gave a sense of tranquility. A great stay, thank you."
