"We were disappointed with the size and lack of comfort for two people in our room. There was only one chair, so not ideal for sitting to watch TV or read; bathroom offered almost no privacy; the only useful storage was one drawer each; the iron could only just be reached without climbing on a chair. The plus side: great location; mostly quiet; fabulous breakfast!!!! Restaurants were expensive compared to average Melbourne prices. Service was excellent."

The surrounding Torquay area is perfect, with many dining options and ocean scenery. Would definitely recommend staying here and I would definitely be back in the near future. "We had a very modern and clean room. The bed and pillows were comfortable, room spacious, bathroom clean and spa a great size. There was a pool on site, but we didn't get to use as didn't stay long. Parking was great, location close to town. Property is right on the highway and train line, so a bit loud, but as can be expected. "
"Stayed for one night in room 9 with the ensuite as personally I wouldn't like going outside to the bathroom in winter. The guys welcomed me and showed me the facilities, where to store foods in the fridge etc. Great place to stay, just a stones throw from Hesse Street for shops. As I stayed in winter and was one of 3 guests it was ultra quiet. It does have a hostel type of vibe but that doesn't matter to me. Big sized kitchen with full amenities such as microwave, oven and dishwasher for use by guests. A fireplace inside could be used and an outside fire pit/drum too. BBQ, and 2 very efficient patio gas heaters for extra warmth. TV if you feel like watching something, Netflix included, in the lounge space. For someone who works when away I was really impressed with the WIFI connection.
All in all a great stay. Would recommend."
