"Super stay at Hotel Vent d'Eden, hotel very close to forests and the beach, it was perfect for what we were after. Would benefit from a small fridge in the room!"

"This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are tasteful and well laid out. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We only had breakfast one day but it is very good. Hot and cold options allow you to have anything from a pastries and jams to fruit, yoghurt, to cheeses, charcuterie, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. The rooftop terrace has great views of the port, but it can get windy. The pool is gorgeous but small and there are only six sun loungers, which can get competitive. It is well situated, just a short walk from the main parts of town and most of the good restaurants. If we visit Les Sables-d'Olonne again, we will definitely stay at Hotel Vertime again."

"This was a comfortable 3 night stay in a private room with a double bed and en-suite bathroom conveniently located in the heart of the port area in Les Sables d’Olonne. Really enjoyed it! "

"It‘s a 2 star residence, a little worn off and in need of redecoration, but clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly especially if you make an effort to speak French. The location is perfect for the 2 minute ferry (navette bus) that will take you across the channell to the beach (it will save you a 30 minute walk). There us a very big supermarket across the road with amazing fresh produce especially fish and seafood. Some restaurants nearby too (table reservation a must). We were there for a sport event that started very early so the residence was perfect for us. The swimming pool was a bonus in 35c temperatures"

"Good. Major drawback was unexpected cost of parking ( 10 euros per day ). Hotels.com should have forewarned us ( ie next to the « self parking « tick on advert. Also no fridge. But room just about big enough’. Bed comfortable."

"Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful."

"Arrived to find hotel locked and dark, no answer to the number provided, no information prior to arrival on hotel 'opening hours' and no response from requests for refunds. Dreadful service."

"The hotel was convenient for the route we were on. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean and tidy but minimalist. The room was small with bed against the wall so accessible from one side only. The bed itself was comfortable. Being convenient for the route it was also noisy all night if you are a light sleeper ear plugs would help. But it was cheap! "

"It is a scam. I received confirmation email the day of my rental claiming i was expected there, but when i showed up I could not reach the landlord. I had to book another facility and spent 2 hours trying to solve the situation with expedia /vrbo ... "
