Our stay came With a continental breakfast which was great. We really liked the location in Florence proper. Everything was within a 15-20 minute walk. "The top floor terrace faces the Duomo and Santa Croce, giving a spectacular view of the city lit up at night. The food was very good -- some fun, unique menu items. The staff was friendly & helpful. The only reason the couple of areas that I gave fours were that the room was on the small side, and there was some construction going on along the river -- not the hotel's fault, obviously -- that blocked the view of the river and made the area just in front look a bit industrial. Again, not their fault; just wanted to leave a heads-up that until construction is complete, the area around the property won't be as charming as I assume is usual."

"Amazing hotel. You’re 2 mins walk from the Duomo. We stayed in the suites which were nicely presented. The breakfast is 100% homemade, cakes, jams, marmalades. Very friendly staff. I’m not sure if there was a restaurant but you’re a short walk away from many. "

"Upside is that breakfast was included. Dinner menu was limited in choice. There were no lighter options. For example; salad, charcuterie board. The gardens and view are spectacular. The walls are surprisingly thin. I could clearly hear people’s conversations as well other activities. Air conditioning was working well which was appreciated during the warm days. Shuttle service has 2 drops off locations. Michael Angelo (great sunset) and the second location brings you within 10 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. Bring good walking shoes ! "
