"The Pousada was a very interesting and historical building. We visited the churches near by but one the highlights was the amazing Museum right on sight.
The staff recommended some interesting side trips which let us explore the area.
Room was very comfortable and buffet breakfast was excellent. "

"This property is NOT where it shows on the map, it is 10 minutes down the street and not in the village of Comporta. There is only one AC unit, and the bedrooms get very hot. The house was not clean upon arrival and the cleaning people were still there. The microwave didn't work either. I am still waiting for my refund. The management company is difficult to work with and communicate with. Cute pool though. "

"The best thing about VM is the staff. service is very good in every area. they give great ideas for day trips, beaches and restaurants. some might view the experience tranquil but it can also be viewed as "dead". bar was empty both friday and saturday and it is an incredible bar. biggest issue was the dining room. falls flat relative to the decor of the rest of the hotel and the food is merely decent. for the price, it needs to be amazing on all fronts"

"We had a lovely stay at the ibis and only really marked down as though the rooms are very clean, just a bit tired looking and the air con we couldnt use as it blew out smelly air - might just be a filter issue, thank goodness it wasnt too hot. The resturant opposite - Os Barros - was great for lunch/dinner, though getting across the road on foot was a bit hairy. Breakfast selection was ok - enough to get you on your way for the day.

"Booked Troia Design Hotel for 2 nights, the hotel property is gorgeous, (aside from mildly challenging to find the entrance). Room was quiet, nicely finished, with a great bathroom/shower. Air conditioning works as intended (important in Portugal in July) staff was helpful. Highly recommend the Blue & Green Design Hotel in Troia!"
