We also took the very reasonable boat trip they organised and it was well worth it. It has everything for a stay in beautiful Mértola. "

Although we did not take advantage of many facilities, the pool was excellent. Much larger and deeper than most city hotels and great for swimming.

"Very clean and well maintained hotel. Staff very professional and helpful. Created by everyone during interactions, check in, maintenance, housekeeping, and cook at breakfast. I literally checked in walking downtown, and the room was ready by the time I walked to the hotel. "

"The hotel catered very much for the Spanish, by that I mean the times of the restaurants - breakfast 8 - 11am, lunch 1.30 - 3.30pm and dinner 8 - 11. So if you are an early riser or have children ! We have lived in Spain so didn't bother us too much.
Pools also didn't open until 11am which was disappointing as it was so hot.
The food was repetitive but good.
Location was fantastic right by local marshes that are a parc natural.

"We spent 4 nights at Quinta dos Perfumes travelling as a same-sex couple. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and the accommodation was well-kept and comfortable. The hotel is set in beautiful orange groves, with breakfast overlooking the garden. Room was comfortable with good AC. Water available for guests in the lounge. The pool was a good size and set amongst the trees. The hotel is just back from the main road into Cabanas. They also hired out bikes for free, so you can cycle into the village to visit the beach or restaurants, which was excellent."
