"I had a great stay,, the hotel is the perfect location with access to the river, amazing outdoor site, great restaurant, super clean and comfortable bed , so quiet and relaxing with a great tv channels , also an Arabic channels and that’s made me didn’t want to go out, the front desk were so friendly and welcoming , they have a parking garage and also a free street parking, I recommend this hotel "

"Nice location. Restaurants nearby. Room with balcony had nice views however the bathroom floor was dirty and thankfully I had cleaning wipes to clean hair plus dirt from a previous guest. It would be nice if housekeeping knocked on the bedroom door before entering at 0800. One does not appreciate an audiemce whilst in the shower. Great to see that dogs are allowed. "We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!"

"Was so quiet we could not believe it . And there was a full moon . Good to get away from it all Staff delightful . Slow internet so enjoy the peacefulness. Great breakfast! Had a shower head malfunction but we fixed ourselves. Would have liked a few more signs on road to get there. Not all rooms have kitchen or Cabnets . Need to let owner know if can’t do stairs .( 4 people master in loft with attic stairs )"

"The hotel is located at quiet neighborhood, there’s a gas station next to the hotel, so easy to go and buy items you might need.
There are two or three bus lines close by, so if you don’t have a rental car and don’t want to use Uber, the bus line is very frequent.

"I can't rave about this hotel enough. This is the second time I've stayed there and I purposely planned our trip for an overnight here. We biked from Eltsville to Koblenz and stopped here. They have a secure bike garage. Hotel is right on the Rhine overlooking a castle on the other side. Room is updated and modern and it overlooked the river. Great air conditioning. Dinner is a must - the BEST Sauerbraten in Germany and you have to get their local wine made at their winery. 5 of us went through 2 bottles and we could have had more! Staff is delightful. Breakfast was a feast with all offerings - fresh OJ, meats, cheese and fantastic local honey. Definitely recommend this hotel!"

"The property is very nice. The breakfast included was wonderful. The town of Keidrich is about 5 minutes away and has so many wonderful restaurants. My only complaint would be the view. When we booked, the room says valley view but since our room was on a lower level it actually overlooks the driveway and the parking lot. All night long, you can hear cars driving up. I think if we had a higher level room it would have been more enjoyable. "

While the setting and concept hold promise, our stay fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were indifferent and unwelcoming—offering no assistance with luggage, which is surprising for a property of this caliber.
Our room was dusty with a clogged shower that should have been addressed before our arrival. Small details like these matter, especially when a hotel presents itself as part of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux network.
