"The room looked like it hadn’t cleaned in a month, felt like I was walking on the beach in our room. It’s listed as a lake view and the “view” is of trees that you can barely see water through. The key card works every time, some hotels or motels I’ve stayed at, it’s hit or miss whether it works or not. I would stay here again although the price was on the high side. Breakfast was included although it was all carbs on the offering, no bacon and eggs. I opted out and went looking for a Denny’s, found one in Schenectady."

"This little place is nestled right next to the highway, but the room is well insulated against noise. It is noisy by the pool, but it is a lovely, good sized hotel pool which we all enjoyed. We brought blow ups for it. The owners definitely take pride in how they run the Hotel. Right next door is the Erie Canal Cruise place (loved that) and it's close to Cooperstown and Howe Caverns and other regional sites. Picnic tables, Continental breakfast, vending machines. Its a great value."

"The staff was attentive and helpful. The beds and bedding were comfortable, although an additional pillow on each bed would be nice since the pillows (4) were very soft. The bathroom had been renovated and was immaculate. Ample towels and toiletries were provided. I especially appreciated the excellent lighting throughout the rooms. The refrigerator and freezer were very efficient. The tv & remote worked well. Room security was good. The in-room coffee maker's directions couldn't be read clearly, so we didn't use it. There was an ice bucket, but no directions on where to find the ice machine. The furniture was very tired and in need of replacement. No additional amenities were provided...the lobby did not provide coffee, snacks for purchase, nor a list of nearby places to eat. "
